Stopped by for dinner, restaurant was busy, full of atmosphere and fully booked, but as I was alone the server was able to squeeze me in and was very accommodating. Staff were all very friendly, approachable and professional. The food was the best I found in Glasgow and I advised friends to stop by! 10/10. Surroundings are also beautiful.

Excellent place to get food, really great Japanese street food! Atmosphere and decoration was fantastic and the staff were extremely friendly, so the food we had was fantastic and the drinks are great, don't be scared to be adventurous! They keep the food bar area open for non-reservations so there's always space, if I were going to be in Glasgow long term this would be where I'd end up most nights.

Absolutely love the atmosphere here, looks amazing! 🤩 Katsu curries tasted delicious and great range of food/drinks available here. The website only lets you book up to 6 people we came in as a group of 7 and there were no issues. Plenty of space here too. Our server was friendly, highly recommend checking out this gem!

REAL REVIEW - I was wanting to try this place since a while back but I was a bit concerned about the reviews I read talking about the service being a bit rude… Not our experience at all! Everyone was so lovely, got a seat with a swinging chair, so cosy and picturesque, every staff member was so attentive, specially Jamie, he recommended us the best drinks and was so kind and polite, I’ll definitely come back. Stunning decor!

Good selection of Japanese food. Staff were very friendly and attentive, good on recommendations. Prices were to be excepted for the area. Environment/theme was a fun added bonus to the dinner experience. Japanese curry was a bit sweeter than I was used to back in the states so it was fun to try a different take. Ramen was very tasty. Gyozas we’re the highlight!

This wee restaurant is fantastic. The food is outstanding and the decor is wonderful. We ordered a variety of dishes to be shared amongst 5 people, each dish was brilliant. Very attentive staff. Top marks!

Good food at good prices, cool vibe but annoyed that Ramune (200ml) was £6, which was more than the chicken wings and nearly the same price as half Ramen (£6.50), annoyance compounded because soft drink prices weren't anywhere I could see on the Main Menu or the Drinks Menu which appeared to be alcoholic drinks only. That said the sesame chicken wings were good, both the ramens we tried had good depth of flavour and the black sesame ice cream was delicious. Unfortunately the Apple Gyoza was hotter than the Sun and I left with a burnt tongue. Overall nearly fabulous but not quite

Waiters was very professional and kind . The over atmosphere was very realistic. The food was good but not our taste. The veg Dumplings was the best. We spent a lovely lunch in Mikaku.

Drinks and cocktails are great!! However, food is not fresh. I had frozen pieces of pumpkin in my katsu curry. Not great! 👀

Really really good veggie options! You can also get a lot of the dishes in different sizes, which meant we got to try a couple things. I would book ahead next time to get a table rather than barstools but still thoroughly enjoyed the meal

The miso black ramon ramen was amazing 👏 The gyozas were really good also! The service could have been better. It took 20 mins for our dessert to come. They said they would take it off of the bill and never did. Would still recommend and come back

Don't remember the last time I had such a great meal with great service too. My only issue was that sitting at the bar was a bit awkward for eating and meant limited space. But everything everything else was perfect. And the cocktails were great too. Can't wait to come back for family meal, the kids menu looks fantastic! 💖

The food here is amazing! Unless you're really hungry just stick to the half portions for most of the food though. Mikaku has loads of vegan options and the menu is very clear on dietary needs. The staff are quick and efficient. The place is very clean and the cherry blossom and other décor are lovely to look at. Drinks are reasonably priced compared to many other venues near by. It's also extremely close to Queen Street Station so ideal in-between it waiting on trains. Overall, definitely recommend.

Lovely little place. Great atmosphere the waiting staff were very welcoming. Ordered Gyoza, Katsu curry and Pork ramen. All very lovely meals with good portion sizes. The waiter forgot the gyoza however still got it in the end and the gyoza was taken off the bill which was very nice of the staff.

I booked a table online for a dinner with friends. We ordered a mixture of starters and a main course each. We had one bottle of wine, 5 beers, 1 glass of wine and a gin and tonic . Very good value for money the total bill was £119. The food was very tasty and served hot. I would definitely recommend this place.
