Great place for brunch if your lucky to get a seat on the weekend! I ordered the Berry Compote and Granola Waffles with my friend getting the Full Scottish. Both plates were cleared and were the correct portion size not to bag us up. Service was good and had brought drinks and food in a good time with how busy it was!!

Had a fabulous brunch with hubby and our uni student daughter. As soon as I saw the specials board I was sold on spiced plum french toast, which then exceeded my high expectations! The plums weren't stewed or mushy, they were grilled to perfection with a cinnamon glaze 😋. The full Scottish breakfast went down very well with our 'starving student' and hubby enjoyed his French toast with bacon and maple syrup. The waiter was super friendly without being intrusive, the music playing provided a comfortable background without meaning we had to raise our voices to chat. Loved our visit ❤️

Busy, bijou, brunch spot. Lacking the wow factor in terms of flavour but friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Just lacking the quality in ingredients of the best breakfast places

Tasty brunch in a cosy west end cafe. We patiently waited in the rain to get a seat - the staff could see the awful weather, the queue outside and began to politely get those finished customers the bill to free up tables. This was greatly appreciated!! The food was quick to arrive considering it was a very busy little establishment, and was demolished in a matter of minutes. The Scottish breakfast was a little dry, and could have maybe done with more beans or some butter for the toast. The eggs were poached to perfection!! Unfortunately wouldn’t rate the hot chocolate, but otherwise really enjoyed our Sunday brunch.

Super tasty brunch. Got the French toast with Nutella and strawberries and it was the biggest portion I’ve ever seen! Super delicious and so worth the price. Nice little cafe with friendly staff.

Small cozy hip cafe with amazing food and drink that were presented well. Staff were lovely and were always on hand for our needs. Quite a small venue but we had no trouble finding a seat for a group of three even with our big backpacking bags.

A nice place for breakfast and coffee. They have tasty pancakes, we ordered the Oreo special and bacon/syrup. Portion size was good and the coffee was decent. Service was quite good as well, and overall the cafe has a pleasing aesthetic. Would recommend visiting!

COSY & FRIENDLY Great wee place for brekkers or brunch with a good selection of offerings. I had the Hebridean Benedict, made with the famous Stornaway black pudding. It was SO good. Good coffee and cake to follow. We'll priced for the West End too. We'll worth a visit.

Best brunch place in West End. I am so so in love with their pancake stack. It tastes amazing and the price is reasonable. The space is small but cosy, and staff are very friendly. The only downside is that the restaurant was awfully smoky (open kitchen issue?) when we went, hopefully that's fixed by the time I return next time!

The food is soooo delicious and this is this absolute favourite place for brunch. The coffees are also of a very high quality at suitable prices. The only reason i have given 4 and not 5 stars is that the service can be a bit slow and it does feel slightly cramped inside.

URBAN WEST - GWR Is there any better meal than brunch? No as all meals were created equal, and it would be unfair to say any one is better than another. That said I do love going out for brunch! We booked for Urban West and I'm glad we did as the place quickly filled up. We were well accomodated too as we had our little boy in his pushchair and this isn't the biggest cafe. We had to scan a QR code for the menu which is a good little feature for the current climate. I loved the sound of the bagel, however I have had serious cravings for hot smoked salmon so I wss delighted they had royale eggs benedict. Kristina went for the Mexican benedict and we couldn't resist a side of berry compote pancakes, to share of course. The eggs Royale was exactly what I wanted. Plenty of salmon, perfect poached egg and tangy hollandaise sauce. This was all placed on a generous slice of sourdough toast and it was perfect. I tried Kristina's which was nice but I always feel I have to be in the mood for avo. The pancakes were top notch and the compote was great too. All in all a solid brunch that set us up for the day and would definitely return to sample some more on the menu!
