We visited The Loveable Rogue on a Thursday lunchtime, the place was not busy when we arrived but more people came when we were eating. It's a nice atmosphere, a lot of light but cosy, we sat in one of the booths. We were welcome by Alex, a friendly member of the staff that talked us through the highlights of the menu for the day and suggested the right cocktails to go with the food, providing the explanation for his reasoning. We went for crunchy oysters, Scotch eggs, white bait, lamb and potatoes with black pudding and cheese board. I have to say that last time I had such a great food was at Michelin star grade establishment. The flavours and the textures were perfectly balanced and the attention to the presentation of the plates was clear too. Everything was enhanced by the fantastic drinks that everything was paired with. The bill came at about 60 pound each including a good tip, which I thought it was good value considering the amount and quality of the food, plus the couple of cocktails each. It's a great place and we will definitely go back.

Popped in for Friday lunch. Food was excellent, 3 small plates for £18 was a really good value for money and a great way to try a few different things on the menu. 4 of the 6 dishesbwe ordered in picture & we did not leave hungry. You can also order from the main menu. Friendly service too. Will definitely be back.

The loveable Rogue is a small restaraunt in the West End of Glasgow that has old style pub feel. The staff greet you at the door are are attentive and friendly throughout your stay. The kitchen is an open kitchen (via a glass petition) where you can see the chef and his staff work away preparing your meals. As it was a Sunday afternoon the Sunday roast was the dish of the day which was smashing. All disses are home made and no freezer roast potatoes or Yorkshire puddings here. Highly recommend

Great food. We had the sunday roast. One of the best we've had in Glasgow. Great service as well. They found a spacious 2 seater table four us and our 5 month old. We will definitely be coming back.

Been looking forward to trying the Sunday roast for a while and it did not disappoint. We were shown to our table as soon as we arrived and the staff were very friendly and service was quick. The food was delicious especially the beef and for a limited Sunday menu there was great options to choose from. It is more expensive than a typical Sunday roast but worth the money in my opinion. Perfect Sunday date day as its very cosy inside and the decor gives a relaxed atmosphere. I'd recommend booking in advance as it was really busy. Thanks for a lovely afternoon I'll definitely visit again.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, roast beef with all the trimmings including Mac & cheese. Very busy but service was spot on & all the food was excellent. Third visit and everything still as good as the first. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Came here as a surprise for my birthday. It was the best surprise and absolutely delicious. Fantastic value and a really lovely experience. We'll definitely be back and I think it'll be a firm favourite from now on.

Really great food and nice atmosphere. The only slight downside is there wasn't a lot of space in the dining area for a highchair for our child, but I accept that we also went at a fairly busy time on Mother's day as well. Would definitely recommend 👌

The interiors were fantastic. I loved the deer's head made from brass and tweed. View-kitchen in front of us. Great food (the sauces were the best).

Wonderful experience at The Loveable Rogue. The food was delicious, with ideal portions, and the service was very friendly and considerate. We had to wait a few minutes to be seated as the place was busy, but were able to order drinks & peruse the menu at this time. Due to how busy this place can get, I'd highly recommend booking a table in advance. It is very much worth the effort. The only thing I could fault this pub/restaurant on is their very small selection of scotch whisky, which you would expect to be more eclectic in Glasgow! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Excellent service from a team of very friendly staff. The menu is not the most extensive but includes a varied selection of dishes. I opted for the burger, which was top class, and the date pudding, which was also excellent. Recommend a visit.

Yet again another great lunch at the Rogue. Food great and staff really nice and friendly can't ask for more. What more could you ask for. Not my first visit and certainly won't be my last.
