Espaço amplo e com Malta nova a estudar! Bem localizado, muffin de frutos silvestres muito agradável. Têm opção de cereais que se pode encher a taça, muito original!
Gostei especialmente do cupccino e do staff, muito simpático

Very friendly staff and a very cozy atmosphere. These is one of my favourite cafes in the city. There's a great seating area around the back that has a couch and chair, perfect for lounging with friends or a book.

Tinderbox is a great little coffee shop offering both hot and cold food. Their coffee is out of this world and just by the university meaning it is often a place where students gather.

Good vibe, great food and just 👌🏻

Overpriced.... Better than the Byres Road branch, and the staff are sometimes less impersonal, but the prices are still ridiculous, but that's the whole point for the crowd they are playing too (overly poncy, overly trendy).
The cakes are pretty nice (friandes, reasonably authentic liege waffles) but once again are stupidly priced for what they are...
I usually go to sit down and write/read for a few hours after work, waiting for my other half to finish their work.
If I'm lucky it's pretty quiet and I can get some work done. Tether your laptop to your phone's data connection because it'll be a damn sight cheaper than buying wi-fi time!
I used to love Tinderbox but I'll be totally honest I've started to spend more time in Peckham's on Glassford Street, I can get a plate of food for about the same price as a bowl of soup in Tinderbox (neverminding Tinderbox's most expensive pie and baked beans you will ever find in your life...!)
PROS: Plenty of seating, plug sockets near most tables (but not all) for laptops/phones, nice cakes
CONS: Can sometimes be noisy when filled with 'trendy' types, overexpensive, no free wi-fi like most places are offering now, mostly impersonal staff.

Love it. Been to Tinderbox many times (although tend to go to the newer Princes Sq cafe) and I love it. Very trendy cafe and even trendier customers. Delicious coffee (amongst other things) and a great selection of paninis and cakes.

We went to the one on Ingram street and it was lovely. Highly recommend! It’s nice for an independent coffee shop. It had 2 gluten free cake options (strawberry slice or raspberry brownie, both looked nice). My decaf mocha was lovely! But my mums Cappuccino was very basic and she said they could’ve added even some chocolate sprinkles on it for a little something extra - this of course is preference! The strawberry slice was amazing for gluten free - it was just the right taste and textures and it was like summer. So nice to eat! Very refreshing The place itself is nice, and is good for a quick sit down to have a coffee and cake - especially to support independent cafes! It is definitely better than Starbucks or Costa. There are no gluten free options for sandwhiches etc… so bare that in mind. Only a few cake choices! Would go back again, the staff were lovely:)

A big thanks to all the staff at the coffee shop who looked after us so well whilst the world championships cycling was happening. We were the team parking group and we were so pleased that we had such a great coffee shop to use. Lovely coffee and amazing cakes.

This store was wonderful, lots of hot drink choices, cold drink choices and also offered vegan snacks. The staff were very helpful and polite and the store also had outdoor seating, allowing for a chilled and relaxing coffee In the summer sun.

Lovely place with great atmosphere and friendly staff. Sadly we could only buy drinks since they didn't have allergy information for any of the cakes.

Lovely cafe and friendly staff. Only fussy comment would be to get a better door stopper for the one to the loos! It slams like the rock.

Very library-like atmosphere, suitable for working or a casual visit. Food was reasonably priced and delicious and drinks easily rival that of Costa.

The coffee was great. They do a serious job on the Espresso drinks. Bathroom was a problem to find.

Lovely coffee shop with some nice specialty guest roasts. Good food options but the toilets do seem to need some repairs

A mixed bag here at Tinderbox in Ingram Street in Merchant city Glasgow, for instance the coffee is excellent, smooth and very refreshing but for an independent coffee shop the tables are uncleaned and littered despite it not being busy, that spoils it slightly. There's 3 other independent coffee houses close by so you are not spoiled for choice. It's modern over 2 floors and the service was as you would expect
