A warm and endearing place with cosy atmosphere, lovely staff and wonderful food. We came as a large group and I heard no complaints! I personally loved my steak which was cooked to perfection. It may not be everyone's choice as it is a fusion of Turkish and Italian but with food this good - I am not complaining!!!
Attended With wife and kids, there was only one table which was concern, we ordered the Sultan Mix Grill for the 4 of us it was bit on the pricey side compared to Manchester and Outer London area for Turkish food. When the platters arrived it was presented well, meat was cooked nicely and tender, and portion generous. Service was prompt and efficient. Negative is tap a water supplied in 150ml glass when asked for jugs was told that they don’t have jugs so either give water in lager glass, as I didn’t want to constantly be asking staff.
Hands on best Turkish restaurant in Scotland! The Sujuk is to die for and the Baklava with ice cream is perfectly authentic.
Very tasty food, nice music and friendly staff!
Food was great, staff lovely. The main thing for me was the lack of any other dinners. Apparently business has been impacted by the art college fire and nearby competitors similarly affected (other places looked empty too). Seems like a shame. There were a number of things on the drink menu that were unavailable, awaiting delivery, but I imagine in the circumstances it's also good to keep inventory low...
Fantastic food, fabulous staff. Went out of their way to make us feel at home. Highly recommend this restaurant. Staff go above and beyond to accommodate guests
Have visited this place a few times now and I am never disappointed. Food is always delicious and the staff are always extremely helpful. There are two set menus (one Turkish and one Italian), however staff are really accommodating if you want to switch between the two.
Very very good! So glad we've discovered this place. I recommend the 30£ tasting menu where you get to discover amazing Turkish cuisine, drinks included. Great service & atmosphere, will definitely come back!
Enjoy going here for the £5.95 two course lunch. They have a Turkish and Italian menu, which means there's something for everyone. The Turkish lunch is very tasty. Overall good service and well worth the money for a quick lunch!
Fantastic service and beautiful food. The staff honestly couldn't have done more, we were in such a rush to get to the Theatre on time they packed our desserts complete with cutlery and napkins! Love this restaurant.
Excellent customer service & lovely decor. Well worth a visit. Although we had an issue with the Chicken Risotto that was served, the cost was refunded in full. Cannot ask for fairer than that. The other 2 dishes ordered Lamb Kofte & Falafel Kofte, served with rice & salad were both delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend. Good value for money.
Came in for a pre theatre meal and was very pleased with our experience.
Fabulous service, our waiter was amazing. The food was great and prices reasonable. Would highly recommend.
We were accepted by the personnel immediately when asked for a table for 4 adults and 3 kids. The food was delicious. We ate all that was served. The place is nice and tidy.... Will visit in future again.
First time at Alla Turca but not the last. Food ,service and ambience excellent. Special mention to David who was friendly informative and attentive throughout our meal & recommended the mezze starter to share followed by the signature grill all of which was lovely. Our deaĺ was the luxury 3 course with bottle of wine or prosecco which included buck fizz or bailley's liqueur with your dessert for £29 a head.
Have been several times over the past 5years or so and never been disappointed! We were there tonight and food delicious as usual(mixed mezes followed by the aubergine main course), staff helpful and courteous, and it's spotlessly clean throughout.
