Went here the other day with several people. Overall we were very happy. The staff were warm and welcoming, and very child friendly. Sometimes in places the staff are clearly unhappy about small children running about and making noise, but here it didn't bother them at all. The food was some of the best I have ever had at a restaurant, and each of the adults I dined with concurred. Would definitely recommend to people.

Visited Sat 19/2 family lunch. Service was great, floor staff so nice, pleasant and efficient. Couldn’t have done more. Food was served in timely manner even though most tables were eating. Amazing burgers - so tasty as well as the vegan one. Tofu was a 10/10. Really good Vegan options.

The place was booked for a funeral purvey.the buffet provided was nice.great sandwiches/sausage rolls a d chicken pieces. The area for the meal was a weebit dark, but otherwise it was adequate.there is a modern bar area and also a small beer garden.nice staff.

The place has went up dramatically, in my estimation, since pre-pandemic, to the re-opening in April. Much better staff and management, and more efficient in general. Beer garden is much nicer than before, enclosed with a lovely decor. Food is very good and well priced too. Paddy and Donnie are very helpful and friendly. Keep up the good work!

First visit here and on a Friday night which turned out to have live music which was a bonus. Staff were friendly and we were served quickly. Good choice on the menu and food was brought out quickly, portion sizes were good. Had planned to stay just for dinner but ended up staying on to listen to the live music. Decent prices too, we will be back and will also be trying out the beer garden in the better weather.

Very friendly service and lovely atmosphere, nice beer garden and great selection of drinks. Great little local venue for a few casual drinks but also seems like a good place for a party

excellent service and food. the atmosphere was chilled and laid back but staff are always on hand to help out. food and drinks came at a good speed and high quality throughout our 3 courses. we liked the idea of being in a lovely bar with people around our age group of 40-50years old, not full of young loud drunken folk. family orientated and certainly will be back very soon.

The bar looks quite trendy from the outside and I wasn't sure it was kid friendly.. My friend and myself decided to try it..the food was lovely I had a big Cesar salad.. moist chicken and dried crispy bacon tons of croutons and a nice wee cup of salted chips. My friend had the pigeon main.. lovely I had a taste..the fondant potato was great crispy outside and buttery smooth inside. I'd say under £13 for a pigeon main this good was a rare treat! Staff were really friendly and considering how busy it was at 1.30pm on a Saturday..our food came out really quick around 30-40mins.. I would've waited longer as the drink prices were reasonable. I'll have to book next time and bring the family..there was a nice baby/toddler area in the afternoon..my kids are a bit older but it was good to see lots of kids.. being kids and chatting etc. I thought it would've been bigger and have a huge telly in every corner..I love being proved wrong! Yep my kind of place! 😀

My recent visit was an enjoyable one! It was my son's birthday and both he and his little sister joined the Church nearby! The food was lovely and the surroundings comfortable. Please try and keep your toilets cleaner.

We had such a lovely festive family gathering here. Staff were friendly, warm and welcoming and food was delicious. Meals took a wee while to come but to be honest we found the place a relaxed, comfortable place to be and were in no rush so just enjoyed the pace. Really appreciated the playmats being provided near the tables given that the playroom was being used for a private function. Only tiny drawback was no brownie being available which meant that the dessert menu had two items unavailable and given that the dessert list is relatively small, this did limit choice. However, I am bring picky because we had such a lovely time and will be back as soon as possible. Thanks to all.

Decided on The White Elephant as the venue for a last minute family get together & I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Great relaxed atmosphere and staff very friendly - attentive enough but not intrusive. Selection on the menu was quite varied. There was 8 of us and everyone's meal was delicious - clean plates all round. One of the party is gluten free & there was a great selection for him as well. Portion size was good & presentation of food was inviting. A few of us had desserts & again these didn't disappoint. Special mention has to go to the Creme Brulee dessert...it was spectacular and tasted amazing. The final bill was reasonable so all in it was a successful visit. I would definitely recommend The White Elephant to anyone and will no doubt be back soon.

Had a really good night. Food was really good. The staff were attentive and really nice. Funny without music but that's because i like singing along and chair dancing. Will definately be back, very soon.
