The bar looks rough from the outside but inside it is clean and very welcoming. The staff are pleasant and it has the full range of beers and spirits to be expected in a pub. It has a back area with a juke box also so you can play music if you wish. I would recommend you try it out and see what you think!

What a lovely bar to come across. Staff were super friendly, the menu and food looked amazing although we didn't eat but will definitely be returning to try. Great warm friendly atmosphere. Wish I had found this bar sooner.

Crazy busy place when I was there during World's week. Crowd spilling out across the entire street. Staff did an awesome job trying to keep everyone served.

Had a Reunion of my old shipping company (Scottish Ship Management) there prior to Christmas (2022). Staff were very welcoming and extremely efficient keeping all those present well attended regarding drink orders. Our meal was lovely in particular the soup. It was just what the doctor ordered on a cold Glasgow December. The meals were all efficiently served and, again hats off to the staff for ensuring we were well attended. The Station Bar is not a large venue but it is cosy with a small open fire towards the end of the bar. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day for our Reunion in part due meeting many old friends and colleagues but also made so by the friendly and very efficient staff. My thanks to them all for making our day such a success. I would highly recommend The Station Bar (TSB) for its ambience and welcoming bar staff (and cook).

We had a great wee night with brilliant friends. Everyone was very friendly. Bar staff are amazing. Thank you for a fabulous night. The only thing missing was a bit of entertainment, but will definitely be back. If allowed. Lol

Went to The Station Bar on Wednesday with my 94 year old grandad for his weekly catch up with ex colleague's. The staff remembered me after a year of not being there. As always they were polite, cheery and attentive (special praise Sarah!) For a city centre pub it was well priced, I had a tennents or 5 and it was a beautiful pint, the regular group ordered food which again is not only well priced but well presented, tasted great and came in vast portions. You could do a lot worse than going to The Station Bar if you are in Glasgow centre wanting a traditional, well run, friendly pub!

Contrary to sending a read online, not a purveyor of Abbott Ale. BUT a comfy neighborhood place for a pint after work or a long day sight seeing. Convenient to the National Piping Centre and The Pipers Tryst.

Oh, dear wanderer, let me regale you with tales of the splendid Station Bar, nestled in the heart of Cowcaddens, Glasgow. This whimsical haven of merriment transports you to a world where laughter frolics and mirth dances in the air. As I crossed the threshold, my senses were bewitched by an enchanting symphony of vibrant colors and jovial melodies. The atmosphere was a kaleidoscope of joy, where laughter echoed and happiness twinkled like starlight. It was as if the very walls whispered tales of jovial revelry and camaraderie. The libations, oh, the libations! A cornucopia of liquid delights awaited me, crafted by sorcerers of mixology. Their potions danced upon my palate, tickling my taste buds with joyous explosions of flavor. Each sip was a celebration, a joyous toast to life itself. But let us not forget the culinary wonders that graced my palate. From the first bite, I was transported to a realm where taste buds leaped with glee. The cuisine, a carnival of flavors, left me in a state of blissful delirium. Each dish, a masterpiece of culinary artistry, brought me closer to gastronomic nirvana. And what of the merry souls that populated this haven of cheer? The staff, guardians of merriment, were paragons of warmth and hospitality. With smiles brighter than the sun, they showered me with attention and ensured my every need was met. Their exuberance was infectious, spreading joy like confetti in the wind. Oh, Station Bar, you are a true gem amidst the mundane world! A place where laughter is the currency, and merriment the language spoken by all. To step into your embrace is to be whisked away on a whimsical adventure, where worries melt like morning mist and joy reigns supreme. If ever you find yourself in Cowcaddens, dear soul, I implore you to seek the Station Bar. Let its jubilant aura enfold you and ignite the fire of delight within your heart. For in this wondrous establishment, you shall find not just a bar, but a gateway to unadulterated happiness.

I walked in for the first time and the bar staff were so friendly and positive and very chatty. The menu is amazing. So good and cheap but top quality. I posted a photo of the steak and ale pie with potatoes and veg. But the pastry top is hiding loads of chunky steak.... Yummy!
