The owner was very nice! When I was ordering, she saw that I had ordered too many dishes and remind me that I could cancel a few dishes to avoid wasting. The food was very tasty and the portions were very generous. tom yum vermicelli soup: 12 GBP a portion. The portion is large enough for two girls to share. The taste is sour and spicy and very appetising. I opted for the rice noodles, which also had lots of seafood and vegetables. Recommend it. salted egg yolk chicken: 9.50 GBP. The taste is not bad, the texture is similar to Chinese salt crispy chicken. But too much of it can feel greasy. mamak tea (cold):6 GBP. General. Salt & p Tofu: 6 GBP. Fried foods ...... are delicious but should not eat too much of them. Greasy.

Very kind staff. Orange and cucumber flavoured tap water was gorgeous. Everything was great in general. Coconut rice could be a bit stickier and sweeter, curry chicken could be cut into smaller pieces, other sides in the dish were amazing. The seafood tom yam noodles didn't seem to have used fresh seafood and it would be nicer to have used fresh/frozen udon rather than instant ones.

The interior is not so good and does not feel very cosy, but hell the food was amazing. The portions are huge of the soup. So be careful as you may not be able to eat all of you order a starter. The taste is so different from Chinese or Korean food. I like the curry. They have a lunch deal. Staff is friendly. Would return again.

Everything about this restaurant reminded me of home, Malaysia 🇲🇾 ❤️! The portions were huge and all the dishes were amazing. We ordered the satay, Malaysian curry, sambal belacan water spinach, laksa, hot and sour soup, and roti canai. The satay is extremely well seasoned, had a great crunch yet very tender on the inside. Honestly, one of the best satay I’ve had in a very very long time! If you appreciate FLAVOUR, you’ll love this restaurant :)

First time in Glasgow, visited this place first thing after got down from the train. And visited once again before leaving Glasgow. Met aunty from the front desk, felt like I’m home in a long time. Ordered char kuey teow, hokkien mee, chilli pan mee, and their curry noodle. Absolutely amazing, char kuey teow and hokkien mee with wok hei and crispy pork lard, curry noodle+bee hoon with fragrant and creamy soup, chilli pan mee is nice too. Big portion for every dish as well. In overall, authentic Malaysian taste, friendly owner and workers there. Will 100% recommend to other Malaysians too and will come back again definitely.

Delicious Hainanese chicken! The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. If you're stuck on what the menu items are, they take the time to explain anything you want to know. Brilliant service with a smile! (Try the passionfruit, honey lemon drink)

I stumbled across 2000's Mamak by chance and I recommend it highly for diners who enjoy an authentic and delicious Asian meal in a comfortable and modern setting. If you know and like your south east Asian classics like laksa, nasi lemak or chicken rice, this is the place to go. Friendly and attentive service. I can't fault the flavours and it is very close to what you get in Asia. Dont give this place a miss.

I am so glad I stumbled upon this place! Very simple decor, but a great varied menu. They have a selection of curries, noodle and rice dishes done Malay, Taiwan, Thai style. I ordered the braised beef and it was great! Just the right level of anise in the sauce and the meat was tender with luscious fatty bits! I am going to have to come back!!!!

Lovely and scrumptious food! Absolutely authentic, and the food and drinks really do remind me of home. Glad I had the opportunity to try out this spot while I’m in Glasgow, and I’m more than happy to come back here again and again!
