Just a pub, but for sure the best value of my Scotland experiences so far. Cheap drinks! Amazing value and the cheapest food and drink I've seen in the U.K. Large food range, in fact hard to decide as too much choice, and some meals include a drink as well making them even better value. Food not 5 star but for the price what can you expect. Service quick and staff friendly. House Pinot Grigio an Italian one and tasted great. Plus they have Jim Beam here unlike our travels in England where no one has it.

Wetherspoons in lovely old building. Two floors, so quite large. No-one at the bar as customers all use the app. Standard food and prices. Good for a short stay but a little cold at the large glass windows.

I visited The Crystal Palace, Wetherspoons in Glasgow a few times, especially with my partner, and it's a very charming pub where you can get both food and drinks. 😊 We enjoyed visiting on a weekday, and our experience was delightful from start to finish. This pub, nestled in the heart of Glasgow, holds a rich history that adds a unique dimension to its allure. Designed by John Baird, it stands as a testament to Glasgow's architectural heritage, inspired by Joseph Paxton's monumental Crystal Palace, a marvel of the 1851 Great Exhibition. The iron and glass construction, reminiscent of Paxton's masterpiece, takes you on a journey through time as you savour your meal. 🏰✨ We decided to start our day with breakfast, and it was delicious. The fact that The Crystal Palace is a Wetherspoons establishment was a reassuring sign of excellent food at a great value, a hallmark of this renowned chain. 🍳☕ One of the standout features that both my partner and I adored was the presence of the original lift system, a piece of history that adds a unique charm to the place. Not every day you get to enjoy your meal while surrounded by such historical elements. 🚇🏛️ While there weren't a lot of staff on hand during our visits, the convenience of being able to order through their app more than made up for it. The modern technology seamlessly integrated with the pub's historical ambience, creating a one-of-a-kind dining experience. 📱🍽️ Would recommend people to visit!
