Hot or cold, eating in or taking out, Langside Cafe always hits the spot. So glad to see traditional cafes like this are still going strong.

Great wee cafe. Been serving the local community for decades, staff are great. Mac and cheese is a must.

They do real toasties! None of these chicken masala, macaroni cheese, haggis or avocado toasties but pure & simple cheese & onion toasties in white bread! *other options are available, but why would you pick them when I’ve just told you the absolute best thing to order? The folk in there are really kind, friendly & make sure they get your tea just right. They also sell ice cream & 100s of different sweeties. Oh, and did I mention they still have little retro booths? I really had to consider whether to post a review for here or not, because I really, really hope that not a single thing about it changes - ever.

Amazing staff, nothing is ever to much. We go there with my nephew who has Autism and they make us all feel so comfortable. Lovely fresh food and great variety on the menu, fast and friendly service. Would highly recommend to anyone, it's battlefields hidden gem.

Reviewed as Freddy & Hicks. Burgers were amazing. Langside cafe looked really good too but it was being run by Freddy and Hicks when I went.

Fantastic old school type cafe, like the one your grandparents took you to when you were wee. It's great for children as they have all the things that kids love, from the wall of sweeties in jars to the amazing ice creams, but also for the beautiful home made lasagne. The owners are the friendliest people you could meet and my granddaughters favourite place to eat.

Great local Italian family run cafe with staff that know the regulars by name. Awesome bacon rolls, great soups, and really good coffee, all at reasonable prices too. Down to earth and unpretentious!!!

I had lentil soup and a blt sandwich for 3.90. Very good value. Soup was delicious and the bacon was cooked fresh. Much better than a supermarket meal deal.

Been going here since I was a child so about 20 years. Absolutely love it and it will always be my go to place. It has changed owners recently but it's still as good as it always was.

Excellent cafe at the back of Queens park. Very busy inside and lots of passing trade with the new housing being built at the old Victorian infirmary

Great friendly service from the second you walk in the door followed up by a breakfast cooked perfectly, easy to do you might say but amazing the amount of cafes who can't/don't. Will be back anytime we're working in the area.
