We were here for my sons 40th birthday meal and joint Father’s Day meal. Our servers were Anne and Ross and they were absolutely amazing and friendly. Everything was spot on and all the orders were correct. Thank you.

We had a business lunch and we turned up with no prior booking however the team accommodated us and showed us to our seats and there was 12 of us
We waited 15mins for food with no mistakes and the food & prep was 2nd to none

Came here for the first time in a while. One of our group has a gluten intolerance and had never been to the OPT before. They were thrilled that there was such a large gluten free menu. She has never been able to have a complete burger before. Matt and his team were attentive. Food arrived quickly and very hot. In particular, the Hunter's Chicken was delicious. More than happy to recommend to anyone - especially if you have a gluten intolerance. You will most certainly not be disappointed.
I was a seamless visit from start to end.
We were acknowledged straight away and shown to our table.
The staff were friendly and prompt.
The food we ordered was good and generous portions.
Reasonably priced too.
We came for the Quiz Night and had food while we waited, the food was great and very filling and the staff were very cheerful and greeted us well. Seeing the pub get really busy ready for the Quiz created a good atmosphere and got us excited. Would recommend to come on a Quiz Night.
Service was amazing, my app wasn’t working and Anne W came straight over to help by taking our order. Food was great, good sized portions. Very friendly staff member made us very comfortable and made our experience enjoyable 😃
We had the best experience today. The severs Anne W and Emma were so attentive. Ensuring we had everything sorted when ordering our meals from the drinks to sides. Would highly recommend The Old Plane Tree to friends and family. And thanks again to Anne & Emma for making us feel welcome. Best way to end mother of the bride shopping
Went for my boyfriends birthday, staff were nice even when his younger brother was a bit rowdy and the food was amazing, would definitely recommend going
Great wee local for taking mum for lunch. We come here a lot. Booked parties in here for mum and my sister. Food always hot, great selection. Gluten free as well. Today there was only three of us. Nice food today as always
Our server was Anne W. The waitress that saved us was very polite and lovely. She was very patient while trying to get the kids to order their food.

friendly staff.very helpful. we enjoyed a few drinks and a couple of games of pool before and after our meal.I requested on the booking form to have a table away from the doors and got what I requested. A very enjoyable evening only 1 thing I disappointed not to get a gammon steak as I was looking forward to it. I had a steak instead which I thoroughly enjoyed. The six of us had a very enjoyable night. Can't ait to do it again
Emma and Anne w were brilliant today when we were in for lunch. They were very accommodating, nothing was a bother for either of them. Food was lovely and looked just like the photo on the menu. Compliments to the chef
