Our tour group ate both breakfast and supper meals here. The breakfast buffets offered a variety of traditional Scottish puddings and haggis, bacon, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, breads, yogurt, juices and coffee. For dinners, we ordered from a select menu of available choices. I particularly liked the fish ‘n chips. All in all, the food was decent and service was good.
Good place, away from the confusion and with good service. The menu is focused on british food. It is worth eating the traditional scottish lamb dish. The waiters are irreproachable. The food could be better but maybe that is my portuguese standard speaking out. Also, the price can seem a bit high but it is fair and in touch with usual prices around.
For the first time in ages, Blythe and I had the joy of dining out in a different city that we both happened to be in. This evening he came to meet me at the Go Glasgow Urban hotel where I was holed up for the evening. The hotel is in a random part of the city that one would, perhaps, not venture upon, but inside there is a gem of a restaurant complete with a Josper grill. The first thing to say is that the wait staff were lovely and took care to sit me somewhere that I could have plenty of room and safe space for the leg, which was very kind.
Our server Laura was amazing, quick, efficient and was the nicest person we've met in Glasgow so far, keep up the good work Laura 😊
Great meals and lovely staff. Only issue is the same menus over a couple nights....I don't know if its a week turn over etc as its not mentioned but it doesn't warrant a drop in stars.
Decent food at decent prices. Good portions. Good service 🙂
