I spent a Sunday evening here, sitting by the fire. I was offered newspapers and received the most lovely table service from Simon. Nothing was a problem with him tending to every request. I ordered seafood linguine which would not be my normal first choice however it was very tasty. There was a young bar man called Cameron who was very confident in recommending a very nice red wine. Thank you for a lovely evening gentleman.
A favourite for a quiet pint, also does really quite good food. A fairly standard pub menu, but covers most of what you'd want. I'd recommend the sandwiches, which are really quite substantial.
Favorite. Cozy, warm, friendly- theperfect place to meet friends for a drink (or two or three...).
Good place. Usually busy and often have to look elsewhere as so crowded and no tables but understand why - good atmosphere, service and food. Great in Summer!
Reliable pub grub. A great local, superb outside seating and nice staff.
Can get a little overrun with dogs and kids sometimes, but it's a relaxed kinda place. Just watch your swearing!
I love the chorizo pie when they do it, and the burgers are great.
Great place for wholesome hangover food. Ootdoor seating great for sunny afternoons. Service efficient and friendly even for groups.

I photographed an amazing wedding at Cottiers recently. It's definitely one of my favourite venues in Glasgow. It's a beautiful building in an awesome location. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
Beautiful venue. I attended as a wedding supplier and found the staff to be incredibly helpful and though it isn't very disabled friendly being a very old building the staff were always ready with a smile and an offer of assistance. It truly was a magical day for the wedding party and I'd verdant recommend for a wedding or visit the bar and restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious and not too pricey
Where do I begin? My husband and I got married at Cottiers on 18th August 2023, booked two years in advance. We worked with the wedding co-ordinator (Erin) and initially worked with Kim in the initial first stages. The two years leading up was excellent, in contact and organised, and upon the time period of the wedding, Erin kept a keen eye on every detail we requested. The actual day was magical, truly magical. The set up, the small details, everything was utterly note perfect. The venue was beautifully done, the food absolutely wonderful and to boot, my husband and I have such an incredible memory to cherish now. Highly recommend this venue, also due to its pricing as well, which for the west end of Glasgow and everything included? Was very affordable and valued.
Was at a wedding there yesterday, was lovely, lovely meal, but could really be doing with cleaning up outside, grass overgrown, weeds etc not nice for photos
Had our wedding at Cottiers. Venue is stunning, the food was fantastic and our guests thoroughly enjoyed the day
The staff couldn't have been nicer. Would highly recommend
Lovely place, great staff, tasty food and quite unholy vibe :) definitely coming back there soon.
Came here for the night market, absolutely beautiful venue and great event
Great atmosphere and the acoustics were superb. Great venue. Reasonable pricing on drinks too.
I was at a wedding at Cottiers and the decor day went without a hitch. The architecture inside and out is quite something. Staff helpful and friendly. Looks like a nice place to have a meal and a drink which can be done inside and outside in the courtyard area.
Amazing wedding venue, tucked all the boxes and then some. Staff were flawless in their service, meals were excellent and the space for outdoor breaks ☕🥃🍸
One of my most favourite places in Glasgow. Amazing wedding venue. Chilled bar for drinks and pub grub. Great beer garden in the summer. Restaurants food is top quality
One of my favourite pubs in the West End. Full of character and always a good beer tap selection.
We went to Cottiers to see a gig and were planning to eat there beforehand, but traffic delayed us. Result being the pub was packed with diners when we got there. However the pub was beautifully laid out. We were starving so we popped across the road to The Rock and ate there. Then back over to See Aly Bain, Ale Moller and Bruce Molesky in the theatre.which is a converted church and has very decent acoustics. The bar at the back was well attended and the staff were very helpful when I asked about some beers unknown to me.
There for a wedding and it was a great day! Amazing venue, great food, friendly staff! Great day had by all! Would recommend to anyone to have a look!
