This cafe has the best quality coffees, pastries, sandwiches and service I have seen in the south side of Glasgow. I have a very high standard and am hard to impress as I am a barista and pastry chef myself. The cafe is small but has a lot of charm to it, it's clean and trendy. Please try it out, it's worth every penny.

Recently refurbished and rebranded but with the same Italian family. Vastly improved menu and good, bug with some classics still there such as mac and cheese.

Good coffee and excellent sandwiches.

Very friendly staff and the food was fantastic. Excellent value of money for the food we had. Some simpler options would be a bonus.

Superb coffee I had a caramel flat white, best in the area and that is saying something as the southside of Glasgow has got to be one of the best areas for a coffee stop. We also had a biscoff caramel shortcake and a breakfast roll. The girls were very attentive, welcoming and talented baristas. Full marks from me. πŸ’™πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜

I've known this place for many years. (Even when it was the chippy). The lunch and breakfast food is amazing. You can not beat the food. Service is quick and efficient. That's what you need during lunch service. Great for sit in or takeaway. You can always sneak a wee table somewhere so don't be put off going in if it looks busy.

Always a good visit here, been too long since our last visit. Breakfast rolls are *chefs kiss* Avocado and tattie scone or bacon, hash brown chilli jam worth a try.

Have been here a few times for both their rolls and salad bowls. Always to a high standard. Slightly more expensive than the average in the area but have never been disappointed. Halloumi/egg rolls and chicken salad bowl are recommended. Seemingly the coffee is quite good too but I don't dabble in that. Can be a queue sometimes at the weekend so bear that in mind if you are in a rush (this might be better now with more things opening up).

Gizzi Espresso Bar is a little gem in the hearth of Glasgow Southside. A lovely cosy place where you can taste high quality coffee and delicious and healthy Italian food. It's a family run business so you can also expect that attention to details and care. Highly recommended for anyone interested in real Italian food and coffee.
