Very nice place to eat. Atmosphere wasn't very good, very quiet, but it was a Tuesday evening. Suited us as we wanted a catchup. Only negative is you need to pay extra for chips and potatoes, they are not included in your main meal. My friend would definitely recommend the wagu beef burger 🍔.
Metropolitan bar should definitely be on your list of places to check out. My recent visit there left me thoroughly impressed! First and foremost, the steak was cooked to perfection. Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, it was one of the best I've had in a while. Paired with a glass of red wine
First time visitor to the Metropolitan, here for a wedding meal and drinks and it was perfect. Food was excellent, drinks and cocktails were numerous and delightful and the service was second to none. A fantastic evening was had by all.
A fancy feel for afternoon drinks with their interior and classy drinks which you need to expect a little bit pricey for the price compared to other bars around Merchant City. It’s a nice place with lovely staff. We enjoyed our wee time here just before our dinner at another restaurant, but will de
Lovely staff, even managed to get us a table on the balcony on a busy Saturday afternoon and were very friendly. House Chardonnay forgettable but the steak and Caesar salad both very tasty. Will definitely go back.
Beautiful decor, we found this bar by accident so didn't know what to expect and was so impressed when we walked in, we were quite early so the inside section was very quiet, there were more people out on the terrace but we stayed inside. The drinks are a little pricey but no more than expected in a
Lovely 2 course meal from their market menu (Itison deal) with bottle of Prosecco. Honey wings; soup of the day; fish n chips very good light batter; squash curry. All great and generous portions. Polite staff and good service.
We had a lovely dinner at the Metropolitan. The food was just delicious and the portions were just massive! It really is a beautiful restaurant/bar. The staff are also lovely and provide first class service. Will definitely be back!
Excellent food and servive with a good prices and great deals. Food is freshley made and worth every penny. The atmosphere is lovely, romantic to share it with a partner or to grab a drink with friends. Great wine and terrace in the undercover garden of Murchant square. Staff is very helpful and att
Whole team of staff were great. Squeezed a large group of us in with no issue, staff at the bar were mega efficient and the cocktails etc were great. Also went out of their way to make some non-alcoholic cocktails that were not on the menu for some of the people that had stopped drinking. Will def b
Nice venue on several floors that borders a central internal open plaza. Various large spacious seating areas & booths. Eating areas at ground level & an upstairs balcony overlooking the plaza make for a pleasant atmosphere. Very fine cocktails 🍸 in the upstairs bar. Good standard of food nicely pre
Another great place to stop for a refreshing and tasty cocktail. Would highly recommend the Cuban Cherry Pie, priced around £9 which is a the usual price for a good cocktail. Just a little issue and this was probably down to it being busy but kept on getting over looked at the bar as the bar staff d
We were there for afternoon tea as a larger group and it was really lovely. I will say though, do NOT go in summer weather. There central square acts like a greenhouse!
