Ginesi's Artisan Gelato - Glasgow - Photo album

My family have been buying the ice cream from Queens Cafe since the ‘70s and the only ice cream even close to it is Zavaroni’s in Rothesay. I have lived and travelled the world and continue to sing the praises of the stuff. Although you moved your recipe lives on! Heading out now to buy a tub ti tak
I originally moved to Victoria Rd at 15, next door to Queens cafe. I am now 47 and have travelled quite a bit of the world, including Italy. My favourite vanilla ice cream is here. Still family run and people who I remember. I cannot tell people enough, how amazing the ice cream is and actually how
Great ice cream and nice staff, much better than their bling bling new neighbours at Loop n Scoop, BUT they lose a star for the militant cash-only policy, which is really not defensible in 2023. Yes, there's an overhead for taking card payments, but there's an overhead for having to keep a cash flo
Just the Best! Our family have been getting this ice cream since the 80's. My mother used to come every week, unfortunately she died, just before it got bought over in 96, I come out of my way actually to get it. the only downfall is you are limited to a £7.50 tub!! I'm looking to buy more of it. I
Awesome gelato and the price is great too. Different flavors everytime I go there. Love it! Just make sure to keep cash on you. No cards accepted but who cares when the gelato is that good?
Been coming here for years (formerly know as queens cafe) Old skool vanilla gelato cant beat it, that same old recipe over 35 years ( before I was born probably) the best ice cream by far in glasgow, none of this fancy ice cream that dessert shops have, they have other flavours aswell but vanilla is
Best vegan salted caramel ice cream I’ve had. Kids happy with their choices too (pear & a chocolate). Bit of a confusion when asking about the scoops cleaned properly when one was for a nut allergy. Each ice cream tub had its own paddle so we thought they would’ve used that for the cones as well as
Amazing ice-cream, love this place no other icecream compares Lovely service everytime I go. Same owner for years been going there since I was a child
Always has even thd best ice cream in Glasgow. From it being known as Queen's cafe to ginesi. Its never changed the quality and hand made feel to what they do. Highly recommended
Lovely ice cream I had been trying to track down a place that sold amazing vanilla ice cream like a place that used to be on Dumbarton Road Partick 25 year's ago and this place had the same style of vanilla I travel from Bishopbriggs 3 times a week now since I discovered this place. I'M NOT SURE HO
THEE best ice cream in Glasgow. The only place left that sells the real deal 🍦 - traditional Italian ice cream. The staff are always chatty and friendly which is so refreshing! We continue to come here regardless of where we’ve moved to around Glasgow. Worth a visit 110%.
EXCELLENT !!!!! BY FAR THE BEST ICE CREAM FOR MILES AROUND. David Ginesi..is the top master impassioned Ice cream craftsman of his generation
My brother deep freezes the ice cream and brings it to Manchester. It’s insanely good. Nothing like it in England!
Known this family business for 30+ years now. Still remains a tradition to go and get their classic vanilla ice cream whenever I'm in Glasgow. Would definitely recommend you try it, you won't be disappointed!
Great little cafe, grab a coffee, milkshake and canoli or a hand made in store ice cream!
Best place to get ice cream with different types available from tubs to cones plus other stuffs just remember they only take cash payments I would recommend this place to everyone.
