The Curry Shack - Glasgow - Photo album

After reading the mixed reviews for The Curry Shack i was dubious about booking a table here. I am glad i decided try it for myself and make my own mind up. The food was amazing, the portions were more than generous and the staff were frendly and efficient. Will definitely go back.
Been here a few times now and have used deals and paid full menu price. The food is as good as you could wish for. I've had four different dishes and enjoyed them all. The only reason I cant give it five stars is that we found a lack of atmosphere at the times we dine. I'm an early eater though and
Good menu. Not intimidating like some others. Massive king Prawns and tasty sauces. Generous portions and the chilli chips were a hit with us. The customer service was amazing. Owners should be really proud of all of their staff. Couldn't fault them. We used a voucher but the menu prices are very re
Relatively new restaurant in Clarkston. Went to try it out as recommended by a waiter we know. As it was Saturday we booked and just as well as the place was packed at 19:30. Table was ready for time booked so full marks there. We had poppadoms and spiced Onions to start which were perfect. We then
I visited the Curry shack when it first opened and I wasn't impressed! But I returned on Sat night 21st Set and it changed my mind, the service was good, the menu choice was flexible when asked to change certain aspects, the quality of food was excellent. The portions were more than adequate and I w
Food was lovely - very authentic and fresh tasting. I had the paneer and my husband the garlic chilli chicken. Both were tasty and just the right size of portion. Service was really slow - 20 mins to get our drinks order and a further 10 for someone to take the food order, but I appreciate they ar
we visited the Curry Shack at the weekend, the service was fast and friendly, our server paid attention to what we ordered and didnt need to be reminded who ordered what. Luke provided a great breakdown of the menu choices which was great because if he hadn't I would never have ordered my starter o
The food here was very pleasing, the service is polite and efficient. The decor is simple but there is a good amount of seats. Unfortunately they do not have a alcohol licence yet but I believe you can bring your own. In general I would highly recommend this excellent addition to Clarkston high stre
Bright and airy cafe style eatery with friendly attentive staff. Atmosphere-wise, it's a nice change from stuffy wallpaper and Maharajah themed Indian restaurants. It's only let down by a very derivative menu - it would have been nice to see some different menu choices, maybe with some street food
Just had some takeaway. Lovely, nice-sized great texture paneer with a chilli sauce. The tikka chicken was also very tasty. The portions were large. Will be ordering from here again.
Great curry and friendly staff. Small menu but the dishes are done really well - which is what they are aiming for. Bright and clean decor and also offer takeaways
The food was unexpectedly really authentic....my husband usually drags me to Govanhill and Tradeston for curry so it's fantastic to have somewhere good locally. The prices are good too. We'll be regulars.
Great staff. Fresh food cooked to order. Generous portions and prices. Highly recommended!!
