Pizza express is a family favourite as it always delivers on taste, price and atmosphere. Everyone you walk into has the best smell and they cater for everything. Even watching your weight with the Leggera options which is great. Gluten free was available on our visit also and this was handy too. Service is always good in the Queen Street Pizza Express, although this time it was slightly slow. Very good all round meal.
As pizza places go, this was above average. Good portion sizes and very tasty and prices much in line with other city centre venues. I scored 4 stars instead of 5 due to the staff. On a quiet day where there was only a scattering of other tables in the restaurant at the time, I would have expected the service to be more attentive. Staff seemed more concerned about huddling around the till point than ensuring their diners had everything they needed, wanted more drinks, wanted anything more at the end of the meal or wanted the bill instead. On a whole it was a pleasant experience and the slight negative wouldn't stop me from going back.
Very nice tasting food but could of done with better seasoning to tell truth but I was lovely And very filling
Great quality of food and fast service, had a salad and ask to add some roasted tomatoes. For 2 pounds more I upgraded the salad to a very tasty meal.

I would normally eschew as chain but I love Pizza Express. I think their name doesn't even do them justice. Their vegan menu is excellent and the new vegan calzone is actually exceptional. The staff are always lovely and it's a nice place to sit too. I think it's always a safe bet and even better option if you've got kids as they are kept entertained with the colouring in, and I like the fact they do kids sized pizzas too 👌
Really good food with excellent selection of pizza's. The menu also changes regularly with Is really good as every time I go in I end up getting one of the new options which are always very good. The selection of pasta isn't that great but the ones that are there are very nice. They also have great starters dough balls being my favourite and would definitely recommend.

Nice ambiance and awesome pizza
Had some vouchers to use so went here with my brother and sister in law on 22/1/19.
I thought that we would treat ourselves to 3 pizzas, 2sides, 3 diet cokes and two desserts and 2teas.
The ambience is nice and liked that we could see the preparation/cooking area. The unobtrusive music meant that we could chat away. The young man who served us was very polite and managed the tables (which were filling up)very well.
When I saw the bill I thought that for slightly over £57 was extremely good value. Will be back.👍
Staff are friendly, couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Great variety of food also tasted amazing. Highly recommend the place, I have been back since xXx
The waiter we had was by far the best waiter we've had in a long time! Had a seat at the window.....perfect! Service was excellent too! Food served promptly.
the dough balls alone are delicious enough to keep me coming to pizza express again and again. the pizza's are brilliant, and are served quickly, with speed and efficiency. i feel that they should try to explain this using their name somehow.
Gluten free pizza with moserella cheese & pepperoni was best pizza I have had in a long time. Service attentive & friendly.
Only minor problem was 2/3 female toilet cubicles shut as out of service.
Out for a quick bite. Staff very friendly. Pizza not bad. Could have been cooked a little longer. Was expecting thin crust to be crispy.
Always good pizza, service is pleasant but slow even on quiet days. Good for a quick bite but not the ambiance for a long, leisurely dinner as it always seems to be full of families with small (noisy) children!
