Brilliant. Clean, nice staff and food is served hot! This is my favourite place and the prices are reasonable. Love sitting on the terrace with my delicious toastie and fruit scone jam and cream. Fab!
One of my favourite places for lunch. I nearly always have their delicious soup but all their food is very good. There is a great selection of cakes and the staff are lovely and friendly.
Great service and a nice simple mix of menu, toasties, baked potatoes, open sandwiches and cakes.
The shop has a nice mix of garden stuff and gifts

Great place to visit, excellent menu choices, well presented at a very good price, served by lovely helpful staff.

We also like the ambiance, with a beautiful view out of the enormous window, a large well stocked gift shop and a beautifully kept nursery with a wide selection of plants.
Scones and tea with the light fluffy Scottish cream was a great break. This little cafe is hidden inside the Oakwood Garden Center with a quiet beautiful view overlooking the sheep and green. Scones were average, a tiny bit dry but overall well seated place with great ambience. Helpers were helpful and polite.
We went for lunch on a Sunday and sat outside with my favourite view of the Dumgoyne.. Food was lovely and nicely presented. Tables were socially distanced and hand sanitiser provided at entrance to cafe.. Will definately return..

Our first visit to this Garden Centre where we took my elderly Mum for lunch.
I was impressed with Oakwood and will certainly return. The food was delicious and the staff adapted one of the menu choices to suit my dietary requirements. Manoeuvering a wheelchair around the gift shop was difficult, mainly due to the amount of people shopping. It is great to see people out shopping again.
The staff were courteous and respectful towards my frail Mum and I thank them for that.
Cafe staff have been extremely helpful with allergies. Very friendly and understanding of our needs.
