Very nice and cosy bar in the center of Glasgow. Good for drinks but also for small bites. Tea, wine and food was delicious and as it very spacious, it doesn't seem crowded. Also the upstairs areas have their charm so it's ideal place where to stop and meet the friends. When I get a chance, will stop there again.
A couple of months ago, my friend and I had the 4 tapas playes wirh a bottle of wine for £24. The tapas was very tasty, portions a reasonable size. It's a good deal with rhe wine. It was pretty busy. I would recommend booking in advance. It was a buzzy atmosphere inside, service was good. Would recommend.
Paid this place a visit twice for breakfast whilst in Glasgow. Extremely helpful service and the food was top drawer.
It’s a grand venue in the city centre and popular too. It’s very clean and the staff are friendly. The bar snacks are good and priced reasonably. Not the cheapest bar in the city but not the most expensive either. There is no car parking but inside is a spacious two floor venue. I enjoyed my visit.
We tried tapas for the first time the girl was so helpful especially since my husband is allergic to fish she checked all the dishes were fish free. The food was amazing. Dessert was out of this world.
Needing 6*'s for this one ( All Bar ) not visited AB1 for a decade, it was my Go2 when I stayed in London, mainly for lunch drinks coz i just needed to get a pick up to deal with the conveyor belt of BS an Brass.
Then, I moved outta the smoke to SE and SW England ......less booze required, but food topped up the calorific experience so more sober, but still cuddly 🤪. AB1's evolution for me .
The selection of food and the service at Glasgow was excellent, and it reminded me of the best parts of the old days at AB1. But with lush picking food.
Had a fantastic lunch here with friends, amazing food , & drinks, very reasonably priced, lovely staff too, I recommend a visit if you're in Glasgow City Centre

We booked a table for some drinks. The service is great and the staff are so friendly and always checking in to see if you need anything else. Lovely cocktails with a good selection to choose from. The toilets are up the stairs and are clean and tidy

Nice restaurant with great price for being in the center of Glasgow. Our group love the plant-based menu! There are varieties of food to fit our group mood while we were in the middle of shopping! From burger, plant based, Asian to smoothies!
Lady served us our drink was so helpful and smiling which is great. Drinks were fine as well. The only thing I need you to improve cleaning on the tables. I hate drinking on a sticky table. Also toilets might be cleaned more due to drunken people vomiting on sinks. Other than that, everything was fine.
Visited with my mum, we both thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, staff were friendly and service was quick, environment was relaxed and well decorated, all our food was absolutely fantastic (Especially the martini eton mess).
Decor and lighting great - created a fab ambience. DJ provided great tunes at a volume that did not get in the way of conversation. Table service pretty good on a very busy night and servers very engaging.
We had a lovely meal here- it was great value, food was lovely and the staff (especially Sarah) were very accommodating for my pram.
The food was fantastic. We took out the Groupon deal which was great value for money. Food was plentiful and delicious, House wine was lovely too. We’d like to give Claire a special mention. She was absolutely superb; really attentive, great fun, efficient and clearly excellent with customers. Thank you, I’m sure we’ll be back in the near future. Mark and Elaine.
Amazing place, brilliant location just a few minutes walk from Grand Central Train Station.
Every dish served perfectly and all of our guests enjoyed the Wednesday lunch.
