I am never disappointed with IL Pavone's quality of food I have to say that it has hot to be up there with the very best of Italian food in Glasgow. The atsmophere is always buzzing the staff are very friendly and knowledgable,and it is great value for money would strongly recommend it to friends and family. Great place ! Great food! Great atsmophere !
Never written a review before but I had to when I read the reviews below...!!! They have no idea what they are on about! I have been a regular for years and years and what makes this restaurant stand out from the rest is the amazing authentic family service, amazing food (cooked the traditional Italian way) and the portion sizes are amazing value for money! By far the best Italian (would go as far as to say restaurant) in Glasgow! Everybody in Glasgow knows 'il Pavone' ...must mean something eh?! It is even a celebrity hotspot, with footballers, famous actors and singers regularly visiting.... 100% worth a visit and you will be convinced!
Best italian in Glasgow. I went for dinner a couple of days ago, with a group of friends, despite been quite a large group and we hadn't book a table and the restaurant was very busy, the staff manage to get a table ready for us.
the staff was very friendly and attentive, the food came faster than waht we though and it was amazing, I personally had the home made pate and the pasta with chicken and brocoli.
I can say that we had one of the ebst diners ever, we definetly be back!!!!
The food was lovely, staff were lovely especially the waitress called 'Polly' and we had a good time, food was well worth it, no long waits for food and plenty of choice with a massive menu!
A more authentic Italian food experience, lovely fresh pizzas perfectly cooked. Spaghetti bolognése tastes slow cooked full of flavour and not tough. This was our first visit but will definitely be back. We turned up without a booking and they were happy to accommodate. I would however advise a booking as the place was constant with customers and was full.
Good selection of Italian dishes, including pizza to die for.the red wine was delicious I thought. tap water is available. the service was great. Nice cheerfully young staff staff.

Particularly tasty Italian food in very pleasant and relaxed surroundings. Friendly and efficient service and reasonably priced.
The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Prices are not too bad for portion sizes.
Was here for a birthday party, waiters were attentive and attended very nicely to our group. Meal was good but not a great selection of Mocktails, they had just 2, I guess that's better than nothing. Overall, a good experience
Lovely food here today, amazing ambience and service, the Anti Pasti was lush, and the two staff a young man and a young lady, didn’t get their names, were so friendly and chatty. When they didn’t recognise our accents as local they were genuinely interested in why we were visiting, to be fair everyone in Glasgow was super friendly too 👍

Amazing meal tonight. Way too much for me as I needed to leave room for pudding! Food was delicious and freshly cooked. Staff were so attentive. Well deserved 5 stars 👏
I have come here for many years and have not been disappointed but I am sorry to say that I think they are now victim to increasing costs quality for both wine and food was just not there.
We had a fantastic meal and it's was so cheap I have been a chef for 30 years and it's very rare I enjoy a meal as much as this definitely recommend
Staff are so friendly. Prices are brilliant. Food is AMAZING! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Glasgow
Treated my son to early dinner for his birthday and it was absolutely lovely from the service to the food, will definitely be returning
Loved it, the pate was nice but the main was superb (Pasta with Scallops, Spanish Sausage, Black Pudding & White wine sauce).
Only issue was one of our group ordered an Eton Mess for dessert but brought a Sundae instead & when told that wasn't what we ordered, it was still put in front of him .. but it's certainly didn't spoil the meal.
A lovely setting to, with a great view of the Princess Sq. Christmas tree.

A nice little Italian in Prince's Square. The food is always nice and they've got a good value early evening menu too. Staff are friendly and helpful. No complaints.
We are visitors to Glasgow and went to this restaurant for lunch on the recommendation of a friend who lives there. The food was excellent but we were particularly impressed with the service. The staff were not only efficient and courteous, but they were also very receptive to customers' feedback and on the occasion of our visit, actually went out of their way to accommodate us. We would definitely return to the restaurant when we next go to Glasgow.
