Been going here with the family for about 20 years long time cant beat it food is fantastic and the staff are very polite and helpful value for money 10/10 .
First time visit. Very old fashioned retro decor which was fine. Apparently one of Glasgow's oldest Chinese restaurants. Food was so nice! Can't compare it to anywhere else. We left happy and full. Staff were friendly and attentive. Possibly quickest service in the world but good. Recommend giving it a go, total hidden gem.
Lunch. We decided to have lunch here after finding it on Urban Spoon with good reviews and affordable prices. I was very pleased with the friendly service and good food at a great price. My two girlfriend companions were happy too.

Our Friends. We have been coming to this fantastic restaurant for years now. Every time we have eaten in this perfect chinese restaurant the staff have made us feel so welcome and part of their family. Nothing has ever been a problem to them from table size to allergies!!!!! we have arrived with the whole family and was not a problem at all they instantly pulled tables together and looked after us. This is a haven when out shopping. A treat for the kids. fantasticly priced good value for great food. Versatile from afternoon dinning with kids to a romantic evening meal with your loved one. A must.

I had been searching for chineese restaurant and i went ionto urbanspoon and saw the china sea and i had some good reveiws having booka table for sat 13th feb 2010 after reading them i was well impressed i booked a table for 7pm boy was i glad i booked as it it was chocka the staff where very nice indeed as was the service and indeed the food was superb will be defoo going back again and again well worth it great value into the bargin
This is a Glasgow institution. Well hidden on the first floor accessed by narrow stairs but worth seeking out. Food is well priced and great for a quick lunch as part of a shopping trip. Service is super quick and efficient so don't go if you want a leisurely dining experience as they are more than likely to take your plate off the table as soon as you look like you might be finished. However that aside this is a gem and a MUST visit Glaswegian restaurant.

First time I was in here was 1982, the one thing that has remained constant is the quality and high level of service. A very nice lunch, food was tasty and piping hot.
My favourite restaurant, been coming here for about 19 years now. As a teenager, pregnant, with my children as babies, they serve you fast, always smiling and would do anything to help. They have a laugh with you. Down to earth. Food tastes amazing!
Excellent food that comes with an outstanding and rapid service. By the time you finish your starter the mains are almost ready to appear at the table. They have an excellent portion size and the staff are always lovely. Their food is a great value for money and always comes hot and freshly made. In the many times that I’ve been there they have not gotten the order wrong once. I do recommend going just off of peak lunch rush to ensure you get a table as the seating area is rather small but if not do not worry as usually a lunch time meal service will take about an hour to an hour of a half maximum so you shouldn’t be waiting too long. Love this place and will absolutely be back and would absolutely recommend to anyone who likes Chinese food!
Note: The restaurant is based and a second floor of an older building so there is no disabled access to my knowledge and the stairs leading up to it are rather steep.
Myself & my partner dined here for the first time last weekend. Never knew it existed despite it being here for a long time. The decor is amazing, we were sitting underneath a giant dragon sculpture it was really cool. Food was really lovely. We went for the lunch menu which is only £10.90 for a starter & main. Chicken noodle soup is really good, as was my curry. We will be back.
My friend found this Chinese restaurant on Google map and we decided to give it try based on the reviews shared. The price on the menu were quite reasonable. We were offer lunch set menu with a choice to choose 1 starter and 1 mains. I opted for the chicken and corn soup with shrimp fried rice. I loved both tasted exactly like how I have it back home. The chicken and corn soup was really good in my opinion (I ordered a second bowl) - maybe the cold weather made me felt the bowl of soup is so comforting. Fried rice went really well with the chili oil that we ordered as well.
Lastly, I must say the service is commendable. All the staffs servicing the table were very attentive and responsive to requests. They speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese too - just my observation.
I would highly recommend and personally I’ll come back to visit again.
Just happened to be passing and dropped in,glad I did,the food was excellent,highly recommend the Steak International which I have never seen on a Chinese restaurant menu before, I had a hard time choosing dessert as the dessert menu is extensive and it all looked so good, complimentary after dinner mints provided, fantastic dining experience all round
The food was brilliant and very reasonably priced. The staff were so friendly and so polite. The atmosphere is just perfect with the decor spot on!
One of my favourite places to go to eat in Glasgow. The staff are a great laugh, the food is consistently amazing and the service is top class! They’re very quick but never feel overbearing. Prices are good too! Am always in and out, great place to go with friends!
Been coming for the last 15 years whenever I visit the city. Love the deco. The dragon circling on the ceiling. The staff were attentive and friendly. Food was lovely.
