Brel - Glasgow - Photo album

Great atmosphere. Was a little cramped getting to & from our table based on how others were seated. Meatballs were okay. Chocolate fondue was so yummy! Visit after dark as the lights are beautiful.
Every time I visit brel it's improved . I only get back every year or two from Germany but I always head to brel. The back terrace area now resembles an ibiza beach bar than the west end cramped wee bar it was when I first started going there about 20 years ago
Great place for a few pints and some good food. The outdoor garden is nice. -1 star because they automatically add tips to your bill which is ridiculous.
Lovely place to sit with drinks and/or food. Atmosphere was lovely out in garden area with all the different seating and lighting. Would recommend a visit.
had boullibase.seafood mix dish...was not impressed.....only the mussels where fresh...lacking in taste and portion size..my daughter had cod chorizo and samphire dish was ok but samphire wasnt. cooked enough...service was good..
Such a relaxed atmosphere even though it's busy, fantastic food and lovely staff ! Would definitely return and recommend.
I've been greeted at the door immediately and was taken to our table. Staff is very friendly, they checked upon us regularly during our meal. The portions are huge - we shared a starter between the two of us but it could have just as well been shared by 4 people. A bit on the pricey side but we had
Nice pub / diner. Relaxed atmosphere and ambiance. Pleasant staff and I enjoyed my meal of Muscles in a lemongrass and mild chilly broth. Prices reasonable. Good near by parking. 1 minute from Hillhead Subway so easily accessible from other parts of the city. Also has covered and no. Covered outdoor
Called in for a late afternoon drink, after a day touring the West End. It offers a great selection of beers and an interesting beer garden with a "hill" on which you can find seats. It was fairly well booked up, but we found a seat. There was some contradictory information offered about service, an
A great little beer garden in Glasgow's West End - perfect for enjoying a drink in the sun but also covered areas in case of rain. Good selection of draught and bottled beers and lots of choice otherwise. Very accommodating for walk-ins, though I know they can get extremely busy.
We booked an outside table for desert and had a lovely time. We had s'mores and chocolate fondue, both of which were delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly and service was excellent. The outside area was heated with comfy cushions and rugs if needed. This is a lovely place to eat.
Visited Brel with friends today. Not an overly friendly welcome. We walked in about 11:50 to be barked at by a member of staff: “WE OPEN AT 12”. We came back 30 mins later and sat in the front space/bar. No member of staff approached us, offered us menus… or acknowledged our presence. After about
Great social place with full of positive energy and tasty food. Despite the fact that the place was absolutely full with customers, the staff remained friendly and helpful. A must-visit when in Ashton Lane.
