What an absolute delight of a cafe. I have visited a couple of times for cake and coffee, and it has been a treat. They have a great selection of delicious cakes and scones. My partner visited the cafe with her friends and enjoyed the food. Going to the cafe is a holistic experience. To get to the cafe, unless you are a local, you drive through really beautiful countryside. The cafe itself is very picturesque. The cafe has been created using, for the most part, old farm sandstone buildings. At the front of the cafe, there is outdoor seating in a pleasant, well tended garden area. Inside it is bright and comfortable with the tables well laid out. The staff are so friendly and really make you feel welcome. Inside the cafe there is a small gift area and an area where you can buy fresh milk from the machine. I would highly recommend the Courtyard Cafe as a destination to be visited. It may be worth booking ahead as it is, rightly very popular.

Charming doesn't even begin to describe this café! Walking from the car park to the cafe is like stepping back in time to an idyllic "happily ever after" story. First, the lovely little hen house greets you, surrounded by a garden full of apple trees and happy fouls strutting about, or lying under trees or in the sunshine. Following around to the welcoming patio was an abundance of colourful flora displays, a wee bench up against a warm stone wall, and a peek of a pathway leading to the groomed pastures which were so well cared for. The café atmosphere beckons you to have a seat and just take in the carefully planned delightful touches of decor. My lunch was a delicious sweet potatoe soup, and a mushroom and leek quiche. Truly superb! My table mates, each enjoyed a different option, and every item looked amazing (The Brisket surely caught my eye!). Even if you only come for tea or coffee you will not be disappointed! The selection of baked goods is remarkable and draws visitors back again and again. My only sorrow is not having a vehicle to venture back again on my own. Travelling here was a breathtaking ride in itself. If you live in Scotland (you're truly blessed!) or passing through, be sure to put Fintry and The Courtyard Cafe on your "must see" list!

This remains one of my favourite eateries. The owners and staff here are SO genuinely friendly and welcoming. The place itself is set in the beautiful locale of Fintry and all routes to it feature superb countryside views. The inside layout has several cosy eating areas, with an additional area selling home interior products. There is also a lovely courtyard offering outside dining too. The home-made food is renowned and fairly priced for the quality. Even the chickens bobbing about in their run add to the relaxing ambience. Well done folks!

Quick and efficient service, tasty food and good selection of cakes. The iced bakewell was great. A little more expensive than it used to be in past but isn't everything and the quality is still being kept up. Best to book in advance to ensure get a table.

Cute little place for lunch in the countryside. On a nice day there are a few tables outside. If you’re going on a weekend make sure to book ahead.

Beautiful cafe, delicious food, fast friendly service. Great selection of sandwiches, daily specials, homemade soup and tasty cakes and treats, as well as a good selection of teas and coffees. Options for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets are available although not extensive. There's also a lovely wee shop selling a range of things like hand lotions, cushions, mugs and home fragrances to shortbread, chutneys and their own made dairy ice-cream. Well worth a visit. Unsurprisingly it's super popular so although we were lucky to get in early without a booking, it's definitely a good idea to call and book ahead.

We recently ordered a "at home afternoon tea" from the Courtyard Cafe for a special occasion, and it exceeded all expectations. The presentation was really pretty, creating a genuinely lovely experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this as a thoughtful gift for a loved one. I thought it would be particularly perfect for anyone unable to venture out but who needs cheering up or needs a special treat. Personally, I'm already thinking about doing this again for someone I love when they're feeling under the weather.
