If you have a good appetite, have a go with "the king of the hill" burger. It's mind blowing... (Caution: it's massive!!!)
The coffee was great too, don't miss out!
Just popped in for a half of cider today, although they only had one choice (Strongbow Cloudy Apple). Pleasant barmaid, nice interior, clean toilets. I stopped here because they had outdoor seating, this is a decent area to sit outside and absorb the street. It was a nice day to chill out with a cid
Just popped in because of the rain. Had a soup and a sandwich and I kid you not it was the best sandwich I have ever had. The staff were all lovely and very friendly. We had a small baby with us and they couldn't do more to help. Will definitely be going back. Very reasonably priced also.
Comfiest bar stools in Glasgow. (Joint winner with smoking fox). Nice looking pub. Ample, friendly, staff. Decent prices.. For the west end. 😊. I like it. Didn't eat, but food looks good.
The food was good, with good sized portions. The wine, I'm told, was very good. I would have liked a larger selection of craft beers. Service was polite but a little slow, but the bar was busy.
Have visited here a few rare occasions when dinning out food is what you would expect in a pub/restaurant though depending on your choice you can see the effort applied to presentation giving you the idea of it being restaurant rather than pub.
The HILL can be a busy venue and does offer reservation
Fairly regular stop for us when in Byres Road. Good selection of beer, wine and spirits. Try it on a Saturday mid afternoon where it's not too busy. A decent but not extensive menu
Wasn't busy, nice outdoor seating on a sunny day, food was good, beer was cold (also they have coast to coast which I like), nice selection of cocktails, and the waitstaff were great. :)
Lovely little bar with option to drink or eat or both. Bit expensive but expected on Byres Road. When I was there they had a live singer which was nice but a bit loud so couldn't talk much and had to leave.
Great lunch spot. Nice selection of beer and ales, great food served by a friendly staff in a comfortable setting. What's not to like?
Food slightly hit and miss but never bad, just occasionally slightly disappointing. 5 stars though because the staff absolutely make it worth the visit.
Nice quiet pub with pleasant seating area and atmosphere. A great place if you want to chat and create your own intertainment. Recommended.
Good food, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff.
Service very good. Food really nice. The only thing that let it down on my visit was the hand dryer in the gents did not work.
Great place to spend time with friends. Lots of seats. Good bar food and the music is pretty decent as well.
