Loved the Italian food here. Even the basic bread is full of flavour. Fabulous pepperoni pizza, pea and prosciutto risotto. Pocket friendly as well.
Arguably the best Italian restaurant in the city centre. It is modern and contemporary, yet still very warm and inviting. Ideal location if you are out on a date night. Good selection of Italian classics, with the fettuccine bolognese and the pepperoni pizza a must try. For those with room to spare after their main meal I recommend the tiramisu. Food was complimented well with the choice of red wines available. Service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Restaurant also offers a discount for those with a Cineworld unlimited card so is ideal for those looking to grab some great food before a movie.
So I decided to check out Ask Italian after a movie at Cineworld and I wasn't disappointed. It has great food, excellent wine, the most friendly staff with a beautiful ambiance. I'll be happy to eat here everyday if I could!

As soon as you walk in, the smell is just amazing, i had a piccante pasta and my friend got a piccante calzone, both were great although my pasta sauce didnt properly soak into the pasta, still really yummy anyway :)
Quite possibly, the best Italian meal we have ever tasted. Everything was so fresh,quality ingredients, superb staff and very good prices. We will be back.
The must try Mushroom Al Forno starter and later on indulge for authentic pizza and pasta. The Italian pizza at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, and the toppings are flavorful and authentic. The Pollo Della Casa is equally impressive, with tender chicken pieces and a rich, creamy sauce. A must-try for Italian food enthusiasts!
I was a tad wary after reading some negative reviews, however I'm so glad I chose to ignore them. My partner and I both had different 3 course meals, and all tasted delicious. And the service was 1st class, not slow in the slightest, even though the restaurant was packed. All the waitresses were very friendly, and there's a nice atmosphere. Will definitely return.
We had a lovely dinner at this location during our trip to Glasgow. Place is absolutely stunning. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was exceptional! Lovely selection of Italian goodness. Dishes had so much flavour and it is a lot of value for money.
The lime and berries juice is very nice they serve it as small shot at the beginning. We ordered risotto and meatballs pasta. Really their food is so good. The place is beautiful sunny and has a good view in the center of the city. The staff were nice. I’d love to visit again.

My friend and I ordered two starters, one sider and two mains. It was £23.70 per person. We were very satisfied with our meal.
My favourite was Mushrooms Al Forno! I've never had such delicious mushrooms ...... highly recommended

What a lovely lunch we had at Ask italian. Food was lovely. Our server Magdalena made our visit memorable with cheerful welcome and exceptional service. Great location, very tasty, not too pricey, lovely service, plenty of outside seating. What else you could ask for? Will definitely be back.
My husband and I took our 5 kids to Ask after a day out at the Science Centre. The food was delicious, freshly made and hot. The kids menu was outstanding for the price and the service was fantastic. We had a very friendly and attentive waitress, who was great with the little ones. All in all, a brilliant experience, thank you 😊

Came in for a late lunch, food was kinda below average, carbonara was slightly on the bland and dry side. My partner ordered a bolognese but it was also bland and tasteless. Well, we cant really complain for a £9.90 2 course meal. We also ordered a calamari which was nice though, lightly battered and done right.
First time here and it did not let me down. I thought it was going to be the typical branch restaurant with normal-towards-low quality of food but it was completely the opposite.
Every single course that I had was amazing. The dough of my pizza was thin and crispy, perfect.
Desserts... AMAZING! Leave some space to try them.

Everything was delightful! The pasta is fresh and you have a wide selection of tasty flavors. The presentation of the dishes is just lovely! Plus the restaurant decor is adorable

We attended after a rush on from theatre goers mid week. The food was good and there were options for those of our party with intolerances. The staff were friendly enough and nice but did seem to forget about us so was hard to get their attention to pay.
Food was great. Place was clean. Service was a bit slow...took 30 mins for starter to arrive and I had to ask for my dessert after another 20mins. I would still go back as the vegan choice was fab and the food really was delicious.
Visited here today on my own after an appointment in Glasgow and was made to feel so welcome immediately. Dining alone can sometimes be daunting but the team here made it not only a painless experience but an enjoyable one. I had some work to do and they were not intrusive but the service was attentive and prompt.
Every single one of them was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was spot on but in particular Neil who took the time to talk to me was an absolute delight. Will definitely visit again next time I’m in this neck of the woods.
Excellent service, we had 3 different pasta dishes and we all cleared our plates. Desserts were too good to miss. Thoroughly enjoyed without feeling too full. Pleasant attentive staff.
