Excellent presentation & food was delicious We ordered the pair and blue cheese tart & beetroot starter. Ox Cheek was so tender, wonderful & and the salmon was delicious for the mains. Dessert was rice pudding and apple crumble. Yeah!
Food was amazing, the fillet steak with onion rings were excellent and my partner was very pleased too with the rib eye. The staff were very friendly and made our dining experience one to remember. Prices were a little steep compared to other restaurants but I can't fault the food, presentation or t
The beets, Ox cheek and apple crisp were divine. Reservations are highly encouraged.
Delicious steak, great atmosphere, excellent service. Natalia has been attentive and looked after us very well. We will be definitely coming back.
Went for a late evening meal on a Wednesday, quiet night due to time but food was decent, venue was clean, tidy and well presenting; unfortunately the evening was ruined by an outrageously rude table sat beside us that had some issues with their meal, which is perfectly fine to make a complaint but
The ambience was great, food was lovely and came on time, made to specific requests too. And yes, tasty. Staff were friendly, helpful and kind, indeed a credit to the organisation. Overall, my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would be back again and again.
Delicious chateaubriand as always, lovely, attentive staff, and in beautiful surroundings, you can't ask for much more on a Monday night. Steak was perfect and the haggis fritter starter was very tasty, the goats cheese tomato salad was light and creamy. Overall, a great meal and can't wait for the
Very nice establishment built onto and part of the Grovesnor hotel. Staff are very friendly upon arrival, and unbeknown to us, until 6:30pm you can order a 2 course meal for £16 (I can’t quite remember !!!) or a 3 course for a bit more, we arrived at 6:20pm and still got the deal from the fantastic
This was a return visit with an Itison voucher and we enjoyed the experience once again although the kitchen service was somewhat slow on this occasion. We were well looked after by our waitress Romany who was attentive without being obtrusive and always had a friendly smile. Would recommend based o
First time in Bovine. The restaurant was lovely inside, very spacious and tables far enough apart that you couldn't hear other diners conversations. Using a Groupon voucher for 4, for the Chateaubriand. We ordered some sides, Onion rings and Mac and Cheese. The starter was Black Pudding French Toast
What a nice place to dine. A group of us gathered for a farewell meal after a tour of Scotland. The wait staff was in my experience exceptional . The food very tasty. And the ambiance delightful . This really put the cork in the bottle of fine memories.
We had booked for quite early on a Friday evening, the restaurant was quiet when we arrived (5.45pm) however we expected this to get much busier given the prominent Glasgow West end location however by 7.30 when we were leaving many of the tables were still empty. Not through fault of the restaurant
Fabulous meal on Friday night. 3 courses were all lovely and the wine goes down too easily. They had a jazz night with some live music also. Staff are always absolutely lovely in this restaurant and already planning our next time to visit.
Truly excellent dinner service. I came to try the haggis bonbon appetisers which had been recommended since the Hilton no longer offers any with breakfast. I was able to choose a secluded little corner and get on with a little work over a glass of wine completely uninterrupted. Faultless, and excell
Highly recommend having dined here several times whilst staying as a hotel guest. The quality of the food is excellent with some creative and innovative menu choices and a good selection of wines. Pricing is very agreeable, the £30 3-course menu is outstanding value. Dining experience is rounded off
Great night with Family! Food was very tasty. Service was a bit sporadic as some of our party waited a long time. This lead to cold mains.
Father’s Day gift from the kids, chateaubriand and Prosecco for two. The meat was cooked to perfection. I would have preferred a red wine (unable to change) but the Prosecco was okay. Staff excellent. We went early so not very busy but that was fine, we were well looked after.
