Passed by "the teapot" many times but have never tried it before. I went in and found it small but very quaint. I ordered tea and a scone.
I got a nice China cup and the tea was proper leaf tea served with a strainer in a bright orange teapot which contrasted well with the yellow + white tea cup.
The plain scone had been heated in microwave for a few seconds which meant that the butter melted into the scone( lesson learned for next time). I love when the butter is cold on the scone + the jam is put on the top.
The service is great by the owner and the price of £4.20p for the tea/scone was pretty reasonable. I will try it again at some other time.
Good coffee. Dealt with my egg allergy and made me vegan pancakes. Lovely.
