We have called in a few times here. Lovely wee place and nice chatty bar staff. I thought with name they only sold beer but they sell everything. We drink gin and they had so many to choose from.
I love the beer menu here. Its so exciting reading it and picking out something you haven't tried before. I've not had food here yet but the pies have fab names.
Stopped in here for a drink, good atmosphere, good beer selection and nice crowd for a Friday night. Whisky was being stored on top of really hot lamps, which wasn't good but will return!
Great beer but a bit pricey. I regularly frequented The Beer Cafe whilst studying at Strathclyde University, which is situated nearby. As you would expect there is a fantastic array of beers to chose from and the staff are genuinely friendly. However in recent years prices have unfortunately sky-rocketed. This is a real shame.
Without fail once a week I make sure to pop in here.
Excellent selection of beers, have discovered a few new ones and the quality of the draft is excellent.
I think I know the music playlist off by heart now however, nothing wrong with that, it's a very eclectic late 90's / early 2000s Euro and pop mix and it's quite a change from other bars in the area.

Good bar in merchant square with massive selection of craft beers in a good location, if you don't like it here just go next door or across the road , there's probably about 15 bars at this location, but none of them are particularly cheap. This is a modern bar, but seemed to mostly cater for a mature clientèle, no weans. The service was good no complaints
Great wee place to relax and unwind after a hectic week, good beers with table service and good prices. Wine by the bottle from £12.00, you can even take your own food in with you.
Very friendly, unusual bar - mix of tables and booths with retro 80’s vibes - also amazing selection of world beers. Unique and a one-of-a-kind experience (also lots of red neon...)
Great selection of beers on tap, and in the fridges. Staff are friendly, and there's a range of indoor seating options, including throught the back in the indoor courtyard.
Loved my visit. We had a fantastic service from Chrissy. Would recommend to anyone wanting a chill drink with friends. Fast service and friendly bar staff 😁
