I really liked this place. It's nice, cosy and well decorated on the inside. The food was very well presented and most importantly was delicious. I tried the gnocchi and I have to say it was something else, would highly recommend. Shrimp Mac n cheese was average. The staff were delightful and made t
I got to celebrate my birthday at The Finnieston and had an absolutely incredible dining experience.
First I should emphasise that you need to get a reservation. Even if you think it's going to be a slow day or want to try your luck, eat your pride and reserve the table. We watched lots of people ge
It's perfectly good across the board. A little formulaic and cold. The bartender Leah is an uncatchable firefly who also gives great advice on other restaurants in the area.
Amazing oysters and fish & chips. I came on a Sunday evening, and the service was prompt. Our waitress was attentive, kind and made us feel welcome. Would go again.
The food was quite tasty but the portions were small, in my opinion. So, I think it is slightly overpriced for what you get (I might just be biased though as I haven't been to many seafood restaurants in the UK).
The table was sticky, which gave the impression it hadn't been cleaned properly.

Lovely seafood gastropub with the most amazing staff. I had the best time. Their daily specials are generous and cheap for the amazing quality. Everything was delicious and the gin selection is on point
I only had a few drinks in the bar but the staff were very friendly, consistently pouring me a wonderful pint of Guinness. The deputy manager was highly attentive. The interior is absolutely stunning. The place is very clean. Overall I rather enjoyed myself in there and left feeling rather drunk. It
A blustery rainy day on Argyll street is the restaurant The Finneston.
The setting was perfect, seated near a cracking fireplace.
A great plate of Haddock and chips complemented with a glass of one of their beautiful white wines.
Customer service was excellent.
Place to be.
Incredible meal, lovely service, very knowledgeable . Huge flavours and well crafted cocktails. 10 out of 10
Great location, service and the food was awesome. Highly recommended
My god the food here was amazing. My dad and I got the shellfish platter for 2. We came here after having some disappointing sushi earlier. I think we would have polished off that platter if we didn't go to the sushi place.
Beautiful cozy bar, the service was amazing, Rana was so friendly and chatty, definitely coming back because of how well we were treated!
Came here one evening to have a couple of drinks, it is very welcoming and the staff are lovely, you are given a glass of water when you sit down with a drinks menu with every drink you can possibly think of, the music is great and it has a lovely atmosphere. We didn't have the food but what we did
The bartender here knew his whisky selections quite well. The beers on tap were quite diverse as well. The prices were cost effective compared to what we find in the US.
A fantastic seafood experience with outstanding and friendly service to boot!
Portions were great, and fairly priced considering the high standard of cuisine on offer.
The Finnieston is a comfortable leather bound experience that is warm, welcoming and filled with a sense of classic style, while h
