Fantastic food and service. The best Indian cuisine in Glasgow, by a long shot!
This was my first visit to Chillies, on a friend's recommendation. We shared tasty starters, and had a variety of dishes for our main course. I opted to have two smaller tapas-style dishes, garlic aloo zameen and baingan masala, friends had the bhindi ghosht among other dishes and commented on how good it was. All six of us agreed that we'd had a very enjoyable and tasty meal, with friendly service.
My family is pure vegetarian and it is really hard to find a good veggie friendly restaurant in Europe (especially when on a tight schedule). We ordered dinner for home delivery and service staff Vibin was very accommodating. Portions of food were really good. 2 curries were good for a hungry family of 4 adults...
Just 2 downsides - we specifically asked for less oil in food and everything without mushrooms.. however we got extremely oily food with all curries and biryani filled with mushrooms.
Otherwise was good. Would recommend this place to other vegetarians.
Nice service, great food and value for money.
We just tried egg onion rice and chana rice with papadum and chutney. But it was really good, considering we just paid £8.85.
Great food. Excellent Service! Best Indian Restaurant so far I have been too. Some of the dishes that i had there were amongst the best ever. The butter chicken, saag paneer, Lamb chops were the best I ever had. Carrot cake for desert was lovely. Staffs are lovely. well done. Will be back soon :)
Thumbs up!. I think i've been lucky here but have always had lovely dishes and good service (from the restaurant, not the takeaway - didn't like that so much). ate there a couple months back and loved the tablet they gave us with the bill, really nice touch. would keep going back!
Delicious tapas style indian. What a fantastic idea. A little taster of each dish and its brilliant for sharing in a big group. The naan is fantastic, obviously freshly made. One of the best indians in town
I don't live in Glasgow but I make a point of eating here when visiting the city. In short, I love this place. Really great food and service. I would really recommend eating here. No alcohol is served but you can bring your own bottle and they will provide glasses. Again best spiced food in Scotland.
One of the best Indian restaurants in the West of Scotland. Not having a drinks licence isn't a problem as you can bring your own alcohol
The food was really excellent. Family meal with a friend. Very friendly. Did receive a rice which should have been a nan bread. That was quickly rectified. Freshly cooked. Amazing actually. Plans in place to dine in again this week.
This restraunt has always been somewhere I've passed in the past but never been in to, which as of now I am very disappointed about. I ordered on a Monday evening and when I arrived it was very busy, a testiment to the high quality of food and service that I received when I collected my food (egg curry) . We we received the food it was devine, for it was old, but it was beautiful but its colours they were fine. After ordering from here I strongly believe that this is the best Indian restaurant in Glasgow.
We has two starters and three tapas options and the flavour of all dishes was spectacular. Loved the Daal Makhani !!! Would come again and recommend to friends. Excellent and very attentive service.
Our favorite Indian restaurant in Glasgow! Great food and even greater staff, in a recently renovated restaurant. Authentic food!
Everything here is very delicious! The Gulab Jamun which is a milk-solid-based Indian sweet was amazing! It tasted like maple syrup.
Amazing food as always. Their small plates gives a sample of amazing and delicious food that is heavenly.
Try the mango lassi and garlic naans. Order 4 small plates between 2 with 2 naan breads.
Superb food. Great to have tapas size dishes which enable you to share with friends and sample a wide variety of the delicious dishes. Excellent food and great value for money. Highly recommend.
Best Indian in the neighbourhood. Friendly, welcoming… great service,..and most importantly the food was superb.
I have been to this place now 3 times in a row its my new favourite place. Food is nothing less than the best fresh full of flavour and sizzling hot staff are so friendly and portion sizes are good too I would recommend the tandoori mix grill over and over again with garlic nan
This meal was undoubtedly in my top 3 Indian’s ever! Everything from the spicy poppadom with the onion and chilli on top to the delicious curries, was super fresh (you can watch them preparing them in the kitchen!). The biryani was sensational with lovely crispy onion on top. Tapas Indian food is such a great idea as I never know what to have. It encourages a nice sharing atmosphere and each curry tasted different. We ordered 6 main dishes between four which was plenty. In total, with sundries and popadoms the meal cost £13 each!!!
Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more highly.
We have been a regular diner at Chillies for a few years now. The staff are always welcoming, attentive and quick. The food is excellent quality produce, with a variety to choose from, including tapas or regular size curries. BYOB with no corkage, is a bonus! Highly recommended.
The food here is excellent. You can tell each dish has been prepared to order by a kitchen that loves good food.
There’s no table licence so its bring your own bottle - but that’s just fine and the staff are very quick to organise glasses.
Faultless food and service. I’ll definitely be back.
Great food...a little pricey. This is a bring your own bottle restaurant (Beer\Wine). No spirits. Great service.
Food is always delicious, we ordered take out and the food was ready in 20 minutes for a large order
Good food and nice atmosphere. We ordered a selection of food and they were all delicious. Lamb Bryani was my favourite. Highly recommend it.
