Fylkir - Glasgow - Photo album

Great wee place. Though very small as it only has about 6 tables this place can get busy but it’s definitely worth it. If you want something a wee bit different than your usual cafe it’s it got to be here. Platter it decent value for money and the cheese on it is great . The ingredients they pick
I don't much like rye bread and I was pretty sceptical when a friend suggested eating here. I was literally blown away by the sandwiches. The quality of the ingredient were fantastic and the chef added little things to the main ingredients to add some really subtle flavours as the sandwiches melt in
Very tasty, freshly made Danish open sandwiches ... two was enough for me. Also, the cheese platter is the best I've had anywhere - with fresh fruit and roasted hazelnuts with honey that are extremely more-ish.
I had been wanting to visit here for a while and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious, fresh and nicely presented. Staff are lovely, warm and welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely chilled afternoon in a quirky little hidden gem.
Really enjoyed a brunch. Quality of food is excellent and prices are very reasonable. I was slightly underwhelmed by the place, but when I tasted the food these thoughts disappeared from my mind. Thanks for such a good experience!
Had a super nice lunch of Danish hotdog, avocado toast and smørrebrød. Lovely! Definitely coming back the next time I'm in Glasgow. Great coffee too!
Amazing menu, so fresh and rustic. Delicious flavours and the coffee was fantastic. Staff are so pleasant and helpful. Absolute gem of a place.
Superb brunch. 5 stars doesn't do Fylkir justice. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. The presentation of the food is only bettered by the taste. If you haven't been, GO!
I was hungry and ordered the Danish Brunch. It was amazing and was so filling. I did get a bit of food envy though with my wife’s salmon, poached eggs and avocado on rye bread. The coffee was great. We even had a cake after. I definitely recommend this place for amazing food, great friendly service
Very tasty breakfast! Scrambled eggs and cured salmon in toasted rye was delicious! Will be thinking about that until I can have another. Husband very impressed by the gargantuan square sausage. Place is cosy, but they could do with something more spacious to make it slightly more comfortable. Will
What a great little place, small but perfectly formed cafe selling a smorgasbord of delights. Great coffee, the best choice was halloumi and poached eggs. We also had the smoked salmon which was delicious. Lovely owners too!
This place is my favourite eatery in Glasgow and I fortunately just so happen to live a stone's throw away, so I always bring guests here for some grub. Their scrambled laks is to die for, and consistently delicious time after time. The good atmosphere, coffee, snacks and music all make it worth spe
A truly hidden gem! Very little cafe, bit authentic Danish Smørebrod (open sandwiches) so carefully crafted and incredibly tasty. It's not cheap but not as expensive as Copenhagen. Worth a visit or more, even if it's far from pretty much anywhere!
We visited this lovely place on a Sunday morning and the guy that served was really nice and even tailored my order to my request (basically I wanted everything). Coffee was really nice and overall great atmosphere. A truly hidden gem.
Cosy wee place that serves brilliant open sandwiches and light lunches. Lovely food, beautifully presented. Because everything is freshly prepared, it isn't the fastest service but is really worth waiting for. They also make good coffee.
Thoroughly enjoyed brunch here, healthy portions, food was great and service very polite and friendly. The Danish brunch plate almost enough for two! Will definitely be back.
I had halloumi and poached eggs & it was served with a paprika sauce that made it stand out to other places, v tasty. My boyfriend had their Danish brunch, looked phenomenal
Fylkir is a must visit for those who are looking for a cafe with a difference. The food is in a class of its own. Its a small friendly place and we are sure it will become very popular. So much so that it may not be easy to get in! Highly recommended. Try the Brunch if you're hungry.
