Absolutely first class. Great food. Great service. We visited on a voucher and had two courses with drinks. The range of food was tremendous. So much that we left with a doggie bag - and we don't even have a dog.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend this restaurant to all.

Fresh food made with care. All the comforts of home! Everything has been seasoned perfectly. The calamari is the most tender and fresh I've had in a long time. Falafel is made form scratch and not from a box mix. The dressing is from scratch and delicious. The lamb was so tender it fell off the bone. Even the taramasalata is made from scratch and some of the best I've had. The Brie and mushroom pie is delightful. I keep craving it. Service is wonderful & friendly! I can't say enough good things. I will be back!

Foodie Explorers | Glasgow Foodie |Reviews of Glasgow Restaurants and food| Food Blog | Travel Blog. Frosoulla’s, interior. From kitsch to sparkly but still homely with the best roast potatoes in Glasgow (perhaps?!). The Greek Golden Kebab was a Southside institution: the first Greek restaurant in Scotland in 1972, its interior was cramped but magical with plastic grapes hanging from the walls and that feeling of being in your granny’s house with great home-style cooking and portions to match (the meat was always so tender mmm). This all changed a couple of years ago when the daughter of the original owners took over and moved the restaurant across the road to bigger premises, bringing a more modern style with it. We’d heard initially that things weren’t quite as good, that the place had lost not just its charm but that the food had suffered as well. Thankfully, based on a couple of visits in 2015 we’re happy to say that Frosoulla’s still provides some of the best food and portions in Glasgow only within a slick, sparkly restaurant instead of the kitsch taverna of old.

The food hasn't changed a bit since moving across the road from Greek Golden Kebab. Good portions, friendly staff and homely food. Only downside is the change in decor - we loved the plastic grapes!

I love this restaurant! Delicious food, huge portions and extremely friendly waiting staff. I have been multiple times recently and have had a great experience every time, so much so, that I took my Mum and Dad and was pleased that they loved it equally as much. A really great hidden gem! The 1 star reviews are what pushed me to write this review. In no way is this a 1 star restaurant!!!! Can't get my head around that

Amazing food, pate starter and stuffed mixed peppers were amazing. Best roast potatoes I’ve had too.

Initially I was a bit concerned as I’m a bit of a weirdo eating when other diners are seated so close . The young , female staff were friendly , approachable and despite their youth appeared to have a good knowledge of the menu. 3 our of the four of us chose wisely;my daughters choice was nice but not as nice as ours! If my husband said mmmmn once more I was sure he was going to get a smack in the face: he couldn’t help himself, it was that good. I quickly forgot my pet hate ( being so close to other diners) as the food was delicious , the service was great and the prices very reasonable. I asked our waitress her name as she was particularly efficient and a bit quirky but having consumed a considerable amount of wine , I forgot by the time I got home ! Going back soon for seconds, a great wee find .

Can't fault the food. It is incredibly tasty and the portions are substantial. I feel awful for not giving it 5 stars because although the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful they were not quite on their game. A table of 8 was due in and when they arrived they had to ask another couple to move to put enough seats together, we had to ask for napkins and a couple of tables including ours were not offered the dessert menu. Tbh I had no room for dessert so it wasn't a problem for me. However, these tiny issues will not put me off going back. It's a little gem of a restaurant and one of my favourites.

I've been to Frosoulla's a handful of times now and every visit has been wonderful. There is such a lovely relaxed atmosphere within the restaurant and the staff are so friendly. The portion sizes are very big so expect a hearty meal, but the prices are very reasonable for the size of the dish served. The wine list is great and the cocktails are fabulous. If you can't resist a dessert but feel too full, the staff will offer to give you a pudding away in a doggy bag which is ideal. I would recommend booking your table as the restaurant is only open 4 days a week and can get busy. Frosoulla's is a wee hidden gem in the Southside and I can't recommend it enough!

Great service didnt get the name but the young blonde lady was really good. She was by herself and super busy but attended to everyone. Only downside is the seating is very tight. The food itself was amazing. Great for anyone that wants something tasty but not overly spicy or bland. Will defo visit again.

Groupon deal was really worth it as the meze was a lot of food. Really nice staff. Only thing was it was a little cold in the restaurant. Only seats approx 22 people so a bit tight in space. All in all I would defo go back and will recommend to friends.

We went here with a Groupon and got a great service. The staff were lovely, and the food was good. The place itself is welcoming, and the decor has some taste. Would definitely recommend.

We love Greek food and this is certainly the place to enjoy the fantastic authentic Greek cuisine. Small but comfortable we enjoyed the company of my grandson and his girlfriend who had paid for it as a Christmas gift to my partner and I.
