My family go here every Sunday and It feels like family every time we go. The staff are always Super attentive, Cheerful, immaculately presented and will do anything to ensure you’ve had a great visit. We are now greeted with first name terms and staff always go the extra mile for any visit or any event.
Any issues are swiftly dealt with and our family consists of a super fussy vegan Gran, ASD children, an exceptionally eager toddler and myself I’m very particular about my food.
Food choices are wide and varied to suit all. The carvery was always the winner for me - again a nostalgic taste of home - very well prepped and reminded me of My ole Nannas cooking.
I have to mention Shelby - a manager who keeps a tight ship and always on the ball yet never loses her smile, Amy, Lauren and Aiden to mention a few of the team again who always go the extra mile.
If every restaurant had staff of this nature the catering world would be a better place.
So yeah Great food, good location, fun play area for kids, fabulous staff and all round excellent Service.
Can’t fault it. It’s a cavery and decent service.
My plate is half eaten & gravy on the side.
Yorkers were a bit crunchy but to be expected with the batch cook.
Always have a brilliant carvery here! No longer local sadly, however met up with some friends and can definitely say here has much more variety than other places which are nearer us. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his fish and chips also. Thoroughly recommend the cakes from here as they’re amazing as well!
Only thing missing would maybe be better vegetarian options as the pie served isn’t a favourite.
Went today for lunch with vi and Sharon food was lovely 😍 and plenty nice staff lovely blood orange gin will definitely be back 😋 😊
Had a great day today at wallacwell Stephen S and his team, aimee and all the girls looked after us and help make my dads 90th birthday go brilliantly and very smoothly. All food went down well and came out at the same time. Good value for money, had a great day cheers all Pamela, Derek

Me and my brother came here for a nice carvery. And we got exactly what we wanted. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good and a decent atmosphere. 2 large soft drinks and 2 large carvery’s for £30 is very good value for money. Will be coming again
Popped in for the Sunday carvery and it was amazing. All the meats were amazing and juicy a great selection of veg and potatoes 😍. The wee kids soft play is great to keep the kids going. We had to take dessert home as we were all stuffed. The Mars attack cake is amazing and the giant eclair I might be eating the rest of the week.
Food was lovely but veg wasn't cooked enough personal preference but I really enjoyed the rest of it first time coming
We hadn't been here in a while as it had gone downhill in all areas. My in-laws came to visit and suggested we go here. I must say, we were all pleasantly surprised at the changes. Staff seemed a lot cheerier and the food was lovely, especially the dessert - sticky toffee pudding - enormous portion - very welcome. Please keep up the standard. Looking forward to coming back 😀
Update ....... Sept '23 granddaughters 3rd birthday, busy Sept weekend but still brilliant. First visit for me & hubby. Wonderful food. Very busy. Definitely be back.
Return visit didn't disappoint. Love the carvery.
Been back with family, granddaughter loves the kids area, staff are great, takes me 2-3 days to eat the eclair.❤️got another one tonight ❤️
We had the steak pie & it was beautiful. The staff are lovely & the restaurant is comfortable.
We were greeted and show to our table by Shelby (manager) who was friendly and welcoming. The food in the most part was very tasty except the carrot and swede mash, it had far too much black pepper in it when it was made. We told this to Shelby who said she could see what we ment and said she would go and speak to the staff which she promptly did. The service was second to none and we will certainly be returning.
This was a lovely place. Food was really nice with big portions and lots of choice...you could even go to the carvery or have table service from the menu. Quite well priced and cakes and puddings to take away were amazing. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Wheelchair accessible too. We'll worth a visit.👍

Very chilled night sitting in the sun outside for a family meal. Wednesday evening and everything was perfect. Food quality was top notch and the service was very quick. Bar staff were very helpful too. Will be going again in the near future. Kids also got a free ice cream with their meal. Great night with the family. Prices very reasonable too.
