We popped in for lunch for first time ever. I must say I enjoyed the food a lot. Lots of vegetarian options and they make lovely Indian tea. When I was leaving the place I felt full but I still had appetite for more :-) nice place
Beautiful Indian cuisine, we ordered 4 vegetarian curries, a dosa, and the special pakora which I must say was the best pakora I have tasted in a long time! Only thing missing is authentic Indian music, 80s classic rock doesn't quite set the same ambience!
All of our veggies friends recommend this place so we went last Friday. It was brilliant, big menu and you have veggie menu too. The food was great, lovely and funny staff and the price was fine £16 per head but we ordered beer and it was full of food.
This was so delicious.. yummy.. I had a Okra and Aubergine with Tandoori Roti.. the food was authentic and tasty.. the staff were nice.. the venue clean.
Lovley wee lunch, lovley place great food & friendly staff. Amazed our 2 year old got wired in to one of the curry's but she loved it too.
Definitely be back again 👍
We went there on a Monday night and found it quite full. After a 10 minute wait we we shown to a table and handed menus. After another wait we were asked if we wanted drinks. After yet another wait the drinks arrived and our order was taken. A full hour after we entered the restaurant our meal was served. During this time I was able to observe what was happening. There was only one person who was doing everything. Clearing tables, taking orders, serving drinks, setting tables etc. Given that the restaurant was busy its no wonder everyone was waiting ages for service. The food when it arrived was simply delicious. It was almost worth the hours wait. I'll definitely visit again but at the weekend. Hopefully there will be more staff on duty.
First time visit but so pleased to have discovered this gem. Firstly the menu is so diverse, so many options. particularly caters well for vegans & veggies, offering plenty of choice. Food arrived quickly and is so delicious, each dish was amazing. To top it off, staff are so friendly & attentive, you feel like you’re at a friends for dinner. Can’t reccomend enough!!
Went for the three curries rice and nan bread. The 2 of us had a fantastic meal. The food here is extremely good, we've been a few times and I've also been with colleagues and everyone has always been very complimentary. Highly recommended.
Fantastic little place with authentic menu and very pleasant service. We had read the reviews before we went and decided we would make up our own minds. So glad we did! Fantastic place. Will go again. They have a vegan menu and a separate menu for meat lovers. Perfect for everyone.
Beautiful Indian food especially good for vegetarians but good meats too. Be careful to say how hot you like your curry-their medium is spicy. Tapas style or main courses. Works out bit expensive.
So rare to find a great Indian restaurant that specialises in street food. Would highly recommend this place as it is so tough to find an Indian restaurant that has an extensive menu that allows you to experiment and try something new. Service was warm and attentive. Decor was fantastic. Overall experience 10 out of 10
My family and I went here for lunch today and it was delicious! The service was great, lovely staff. The food was flavoursome and we left happy and stuffed. The interior was lovely and clean. Looking forward to going back.
Excellent food, Indian Street food is not very common in mainstream Glasgow Indian restaurants. It is heartening to see street food being treated with such love and care. Amazing flavours, great quality, catchy presentation made for a great meal at Usha's.
Came here with dinner with the girls staff were attentive and friendly. The food was lovely, ordered the shared dishes and ordered too much and ate too much. Chicken And fish Pakora to start, were so tasty. Lamb chops melted in your mouth, Tikka had just the right amount of heato it, the only issue we had was one of my friends dishes wasnt as hot as she expected but we know for next time as we will definitely go back.
we went today for lunch and loved it, i had bought a groupon voucher so thought we would give it a go, cant fault anything at all. we added in a starter for 4.95 which was great 2 poppadoms and the most amazing spicy onions never tasted ones as good as this pakora was fab too. the voucher included 3 curry's, rice and nan and was more than enough for 2, the only thing i can say was that the alcohol is a bit expensive but it is in the west end and the prices are a bit dearer here so it was to be expected.
Service was fab too and we cant wait till we come back, see you very soon and thank you again.
