Went for dinner with family. Love the food service. Meat platter and casarrole was amazing and best part is Turkish bread. Right in the middle of merchant city and short walk from grand central.
I cannot recommend this place more. The food the service being welcomed with “hello John” never having been there before but made a reservation. Just the best restaurant I’ve been too in many years. Amazing.
All I can say is that it’s a wonderful, fantastic place for dinner. They serve excellent quality food, made with fresh ingredients, EFES is THE BEST Turkish restaurant ever! I’m not saying this just because I was well served and had a delicious dinner, I’m writing this review because this place needs a shoot out. I have been to many Turkish restaurants around the globe, as a traveler what I can say is that it’s the number 1 for me. I loved their yoghurt when they serve with the iskender, the special sauces, pide, mix shish. From starter to dessert everything was top notched at affordable price. My daughter wanted to celebrate her 6th birthday at EFES only nowhere else. I just called few hours for a booking and the lovely girl i had on phone said she will be arranging everything.
They decorate table, wished my baby girl and sang happy birthday, with music in background, made her feel so precious and special. The lovely girl prepared a cake with ice cream on this occasion. Can’t believe how they prioritized human beings! I wouldn’t have asked for more. I actually did not expect this to be so perfect, i was AMAZED! The sweet girl (sorry don’t know her name) was so professional and loving, my daughter appreciated a lot. The staff members are fabulous!
They know how to make you feel comfortable and pleased.
Thank you team EFES for making a beautiful memory on this day 4th October 2023!
It’s decided nowhere else for Turkish food!
the food was amazing and the staff where great. highly recommend
Great place to eat in Glasgow its Halal, staff was brilliant and food was delicious. Was given complimentary Turkish tea and some baklava. Would definitely visit again.
Overall a very Delicious food, would recommend anyone to visit them.
Lamb chops and chicken shish were yummy.
Kunafa & Turkish coffee were delightful.
Perfect location
Absolutely loved it! Food was amazing and everyone was so lovely and professional. I'm looking forward to going back for my birthday!
Everything perfect does really not identify the atmosphere. You should be experienced, immediately
We had the most incredible time at Efe’s a few Saturdays ago. The food was insanely good and the atmosphere was incredible including the dancers.
There was a fire alarm in the middle of our meal where the alarm lasted about 15 minutes and nobody was asked to evacuate as it was related to the building next door. Since the alarm, the staff kind of lost their mojo and the service went a bit down hill.
I’d certainly go back and I’ve recommended it to lots of people!
Had an amazing meal. Food was great. Service excellent.
As soon as my "Adana Kebab" came out the smell reminded me of when I lived in Turkey. This is my favourite place in Glasgow. Excellent Turkish food and Turkish tea. Staff are very friendly and the manager always makes sure I am comfortable. I eat here alone often and can relax and take my time .
Food was a bit cold and service was somewhat slow. But the outdoor tables have a magical feel to it and the vibes were calm and beautiful
Fantastic food and service
We had a breakfast here
Very professional staff, excellent presentation and food is yummy
Top notch authentic Turkish food and service. It was my son's 16th birthday. The staff sang happy birthday in Turkish at his request. Hes half Turk. Great wee night 🌙
Excellent restaurant in a really chic area of Glasgow offering authentic Turkish food. I really enjoyed it, especially the balloon bread with the garlic butter which was delectable. The pide and the grilled meats were really good also. The service wasn't great, and I would have rated it 4 stars based on that, but I know how hard it has been for restaurants to recruit new members of staff in the pandemic, so I'll let them off.
The service was a bit slow. All the food didn't come in on time. Food was fresh and delicious. But between 4 people they served 1 bread and we had to keep asking to bring more bread. I think for the place and the quality of food the service can be better. They forgot halloumi (appetizer) and fries until we reminded they forgot those two items and served main.
Good food and service, but please Turkey is country of olives, how can you even serve these olives ? hence the 4 stars.
