Stravaigin - Glasgow - Photo album

Probably one of the best places in Glasgow for great local food. A very beautifully made interior of the restaurant puts you in a cozy atmosphere. The service is super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The food itself is just great - delicious, from local ingredients and just an explosion f
Great place for a dinner, we seated upstairs which it was quite and perfect for a date with candlelight atmosphere. The menu wasn’t too big so we order 3 small plates and one big plate which was perfect portions for two people. Good pairing of unexpected ingredient but all the dishes tasted very goo
We had an early dinner and we loved our server, she recommended some amazing local scotland dishes for us to try. We ordered tonns of food and drinks. We were clearly hungry!! Lol The ambience was quite amazing. The crowd was gr8. Ample of sitting space apart from the bar area. Some families with yo
Everything about our dinner here was perfect. The atmosphere is welcoming and the space is a really neat, rustic/eclectic vibe that feels chic and also totally down to earth. We loved seeing the dogs dining alongside their humans in the bar area! Our server Max was friendly and had great recommendat
Sunday beef roast was a feast that lacked for nothing in the taste stakes. Starting with haggis might very been too ambitious tho. Won't eat till Wednesday now. Atmosphere was perfect and staff were delightful- worth returning for in its own. Seriously recommended.
I ordered mussels. I must tell you that if you come here, you should not miss this. It’s so delicious food. Haggis was nice. The atmosphere and staffs were great.
Delicious food. Service was perfect. Buzzy atmosphere. Really enjoyed it and will be back.
Possibly mate favourite pub in Glasgow, great beer selection, great atmosphere and service, beautiful decor, decent prices, the food looked lovely but most of all for me it was a very friendly bar.
The food was incredible. Clearly the chef is top class. Why they aren’t a Michelin starred restaurant is beyond me. Sophie, our waitress was amazing. She gave spot on recommendations, was tons of fun to chat with, and made the entire experience very enjoyable. Looking forward to dining here again!
First time visiting here and won't be the last! Had a cosy little corner upstairs for two. Tried the Sunday Roast which was Beef. Beautiful cut of meat, perfectly cooked in my opinion. Broccoli and cauliflower cheese was lovely, roasties were crisp and flavoursome. Our server, despite being busy was
Amazing service and amazing food. Excellent value for money for the standard of food. The pork belly was a particular standout. Highly recommend.
Had dinner here a few days ago after my last visit in 2022, I’m disappointed as they used to be so much better. They get worse with my each visit. 4 star for the service, 0 for food. Staff were super cute and friendly, food was very impressive and absolutely amazing given that they have such a reas
Great place for food and drinks. Try the haggis - it's perfect. I recommend the dram sauce with it. The staff are extraordinary, atmosphere is cosy and unique. Went there a second time for haggis and Guinness the day after, because everything was on point. Glasgow has many great restaurants and pub
Had a hen night here last night. Fantastic night. Food was delicious, served quickly for 20+ guests. Staff all over the place were friendly and cheerful. Sophie however who was with us most of the night was just brilliant. Couldn't do more for you and a smile on her face. Well done all of you. Tha
Outstanding. Food was great, haggis, steak, mussels, pork belly - everything sooo tasty and cooked to perfection. Charming waitress who explained everything, all the people at Stravaigin made it a perfect team event after our trade show in Glasgow. Thank you, will come back.
Outstanding meal. Party of 8, everyone loved the food, some going as far as saying it was the meal of the year. Only recommendation is for a really elevated dining experience, order the starters and the regular mains, not the Stravaigan staples. The staples are also fantastic, but not the same leve
I love this place. But. The foods gone downhill. The chips just aren't edible. My roast beef dinner had the smallest bit of beef ever and wasn't cheap. Both times the staff have been helpful (no charge for inedible chips and another bit of beef cause I asked nice .) But chips ain't hard to do guys a
Stravaigin is a Glasgow West End legend. A really relaxed, quirky atmosphere. Great for just some drinks. Good range of beers. Excellent wines by the glass. Even better by the bottle. And can they do cocktails! Stravaigin is old Scots for wandering with a view to experiencing. The menu reflects this
