Amazing experience! The food was simply delicious. We tried most of the non vegetarian options and enjoyed ourselves very much. Food came quickly, but everything was freshly cooked and tasty. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Attentive and really friendly service staff. Great food, generous portions, and
You could easily miss this first floor restaurant - and once you get past the fact that the front door leads you into the bar...it's a brilliant find! Tasty treats at good value, fusing traditional scottish flavours with the punchy, exotic spices of the East
Excellent curry in small independent concern.open 12 years this curry house has built up a great reputation for food and atmosphere. Limited menu just means that what you get is quality well worth a visit
Ordered a carry out after travelling from Glenrothes to visit a relative. Incredibly friendly staff. Hubby says his Vindaloo is excellent. My butter chicken is the best I have ever tasted. The rice is rich in cardamom, just how I like it! Must go to Glasgow more often!
The cutest little curry restaurant houses the biggest and boldest flavors! Absolutely charming little lane off of busy Byres Rd, this curry shop is hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had outside of India (and I lived in India for 3 months). Only qualm I would have is that it’s so wonderfully
My first visit to this small and intimate restaurant on Ashton Lane in Glasgow's West End good tasty flavoursome food but unfortunately no draft lager only bottles. I have also been to the sister restaurant in the city centre a number of times which I feel was just that little bit better.
The food was absolutely delicious and was delivered without much wait. The staff was both helpful and filled with humor. And to boot, they have more than affordable prices, as well as one of the best offers on the menu, which lets you pick two small dishes with a side of rice and chapita.
We booked at the wrong spot, but the staff accommodated us and got us a table quickly. Food was fantastic and nicely spiced. Staff were cheerful and friendly. A pefect end to fantastic day in Glasgow!!
Okay now we are talking. If you haven't already, come to this place to remind yourself how food really should taste. The currys were cooked to perfection, you could actually taste the cooking process and not just a last minute mixing of loads of spices and oil. The bread was on another level, fluffy
Loved my dinner there . This place is small. Few tables and one waiter. The food was so good. Starting with veg. Pakora which was gd and tasty followed by lamb with mint which was unique and tasty . It was mouth watering. the meat was really well cooked and the saucewas so gd. The chapati was fresh
Our Go To curry house in Glasgow. Always consistently awesome, service with a smile and it's a wee spot so don't be surprised if the chef comes out to talk to you. Everything is delicious here.
A uniquely homely and cosy atmosphere with amazing food and exceptional service right in the heart of the bustling Glasgow West End. Our wedding was a small family affair and Vinnie, the manager of the Wee Curry House, was wonderfully attentive, thoughtful and helpful from the outset. The restaurant
Superb wee Indian restaurant, hidden above Jinty McGuinty's on Ashton Lane. Try the Haggis pakora. It's incredible! As is the Butter Chicken. I ask them to add some chillies to it as it's not that spicy, but bu**er me with an ice-cold Kingfisher, it tastes gorgeous! 🤤 Staff are friendly and service
Big lunch portions, great value for your money and spicy flavors! The dosa was... Well more of a burrito though. We found it to be disappointing. The black chai was undrinkable too. Overall good food.
The Wee Curry Shop(or Glasgow Curry Shop as its now called) in Ashton Lane is probably my favourite place to sit in and eat Indian food. The quality of the food is amazing and is a good bit different from what you would expect if you are used to generic Indian food that they serve at most Indian res
The food was great, we were served faster than expected, and the atmosphere and decorations are very pleasant. My only complaint was that there were some communication issues that resulted in a minor error in what we got compared to what we ordered. A booking was needed for dinner.
The food is wonderful and there is a lunch option with smaller portions where you can order two small portions so that you can taste a lot of different dishes. Very good customer service and we didn't have to wait long for our food.
