It is a few months since our last visit to this excellent restaurant. We had pre-booked - just as well as it was a busy Good Friday. As before, we found the staff to be helpful and courteous throughout our meal. I would like to mention Mr Bahader in particular, who I believe is the Head Waiter. The food was delicious and the choice impressive. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.
Bukharah is on the more expensive side, but the food is worth it. It was the first Indian restaurant I visited upon arriving in Glasgow and I wasn't very impressed with the menu because the food was more IndoEuropean than authentic Indian. However, I spoke to a very helpful staff member who told me that the food can be tailored to Indian tastes. I was glad! The food was great and took care of my home sickness :)
Superb fresh food. Very attentive, friendly staff. Masala fish starter especially good.
Had a groupon deal 4 cocktails for £15 but used a groupon 50% off deal so four cocktails for £7.50 .
They were amazing .
Highly reccomend .
We stumbled upon this place when we were visiting Glasgow last October. We walked in and were able to get a seat, which was great. The service was a little bit slow, but very friendly and the food was definitely worth the wait. My husband is not a great fan of curries, but thoroughly enjoyed his meal and I polished mine off and was wanting for more it was so nice. So, definitely a great find and if we ever visit Glasgow again, we will surely drop by.
Out in the Finnieston area on a lovely sunny July day and what better than a nice curry. Never tried Bukharah before and was pulled in by the healthy offers advertised outside. Very posh surroundings and great staff. The waiter fully explained the background to the healthy claim and we were pretty impressed. The food was excellent and we will definitely be back for more. Bukharah - recommended 👍🏻
Amazing food, great service and a lovely setting.
We've been here a good few times now and is definitely my first choice for a curry (the Butter Chicken is a must). Head and shoulders above other Indian restaurants in the city. Highly recommend.
Great food and the best service I've seen in a restaurant in a long time. The hostess for example, warned us it might take some time before we got our orders already when we asked for the table so that we could take that into consideration. I like the honesty. And there wasn't much of a wait. The rest of the staff was also cheerful and efficient.
Excellent food. Always made to order. Worth the wait. Excellent service. The non Asian staff are also well trained and know their terminology. One of the best places to eat Pak/Indian food in Glasgow.
I loved the food and everything is looking nice. Decent prices and if you are a Lorn Hotel guest you get -20% on a la carte menu on from Sunday till Thursday. Although they didn't applied the discount in a first place despite I said when I arrive I was staying at the hotel and had I had to ask for it when they brought me the bill.
The food arrived fast but it took a while to get the bill at the end when I wanted to go.
Food was beautiful. Great friendly staff. 1st time visiting can't wait for next visit
On the 4th of September this year, I had been to this amazing restaurant with my dearest mentor and guardian; Mridula aunty. She is the Secretary for the Association of Indian organisations (AIO). She spoke so highly of this place and I second every word she said. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff who were already attending to a huge wedding ceremony. It was very hospitable of them to divide their attention in the middle of that ceremony. Since it was slightly warm that day we requested to be seated in a place where the Sun rays didn't hit us directly. The establishment was thoroughly sanitized and very well maintained.
Aunty and I decided to order starters and main course. We had ordered chicken tikka, paneer tikka, onion pakoras and pineapple juice for starters. For the main course, we had ordered chicken biryani that came with raita and a side sauce. The presentation was impressive. Taste was superb. Everything was so delicious that I am at loss for words. I loved every bit of it. Portions were filling as well. For dessert, we went for Gulab jamun with vanilla ice cream (this was on the house cause of the ceremony that was being held there that day). I had the pleasure to meet the owner of the restaurant who's by all means a true gentleman with a golden heart. Very down to earth, positive and has got the most contagious smile. He very generously offered us a portion of golgappas which was also on the house. We were so full that day- I can't even begin to explain. Nonetheless, we both had a great time. On our way back I had made up my mind that this is going to be one of those places where I am going to walk in- over and over again- for awesome Indian food. A massive shout out to the people here in Glasgow- if you are looking for amazing Indian food do check this restaurant out. Thank you. 🙂🙂
