Hadn't booked and we were welcomed by staff. Food was fantastic, sangria went down well and the cheesecake to die for. Great atmosphere and enjoyed a relaxing meal with friends. Highly recommend
Food made with lots of love!
Highly recommend this lovely place :)
The staff are great, the food is flavorful.
Great for tapas and dont forget to get some dessert !
You have got to come to this place
An elaborately decorated place. That's the first thing you notice about this place. Lota details given into the decoration. Tried the tacos and finger foods. Food was yummilicious. Loved my sangria to bits too. Ambience was super lovely for a lunch out with my date. Service was fast and friendly. Will go here again.
Love this place! Has consistently maintained quality over the years and it's so welcoming. Excellent service and good value for money. Highly recommended!
Went to Cafe Andaulz with my boyfriend this Saturday night, we didn’t have a booking but they managed to find us a couple of seats at the bar.
We wouldn’t normally sit at the bar but it was really spacious and very comfortable.
We shared 6 tapas and had two glasses of the house red wine. The house red - I would definitely recommend, easy drinking and full of flavour.
All of the dishes were spectacular - the two stand out dishes for me were the carne de res picante and the pollo rebozado con miel.
5 stars for this place, definitely consistent as I’ve had a similar experience in the city centre restaurant.
It won't blow your mind and probably wouldn't pass the test of an authentic tapas chef but it's reasonably cheap and not a bad option for those of us who like to pick at our food rather than sink a big steak. 7/10
Went along on Thursday night. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The pre-theatre menu is fantastic value. All the portions were surprisingly big. Not the most authentic tapas but very tasty nonetheless.
Brilliant gluten free selection. Excellent choice of vegetarian and GF vegetarian choices.
Food is delicious and good value. Service is attentive.
As close to Spain you will get in Glasgow without taking a flight. In my travels to Spain, I've been fortunate to always eat local. (Right ok, I admit I did have a few full English breakfasts when I was in Ibiza during my heyday)
With that out the way, I say that tapas is one of the best examples of international cuisine done right. In Spain, using the freshest of ingredients and best produce to make something that is simple and tasty is quite a feat and I don't know how the little bars manage it. But isn't that what Gordon Ramsey always says "keep it simple"?
Cafe Andaluz, executes this mantra very well. With the food tasty and fresh, but of course made a little more fancier to meet with our expectations from a full tapas restaurant. The atmosphere is like being in Spanish wine cellar, white tiled walls, lighting moody and with the chattering buzz you would expect from a busy restaurant. The entrance is off the main street, but like many a good tapas eatery in Spain, they are normally the ones to look out for. (where the locals go after work for a drink, food and chat)

Another anniversary dinner with my lovely wife. This is the first time we have visited the west end restaurant as we normally book with the one near George square. Food was good, a few things were amiss with the meatballs as the individual balls were tough. But other than that a great atmosphere with all the Spanish touches surrounding us. The service was great with the only nip pick was we had to constantly try and find out waiter for drinks. He seamed to be fully concentrating on the larger tables.
The food in this restaurant is so cosy and feels authentic. The food is delicious. I have been a few times and it never fails to impress. Staff are friendly and helpful too.
Excellent tapas as always. Bread and olives to start with balsamic and olive oil.
Followed by patatas gradinatas. Meat balls, chorizo black pudding. Goats cheese with marmalade and chicken in honey
Nice place for food and drinks
Tapas are lovely with a wide variety and great quality.
-1 star for service as our drinks arrived way after our food despite us asking the waitress about it.
But, it happens, that's why we'll soon be back for more tapas!

Chose the set menu. Plenty variety on offer and enough food for all. Chilli prawns were a stand out dish but others were not far behind. Lovely atmosphere inside and excellent quick service.
Great food and service, £17 for a choice of 3 tapas, i do recommend the Paella.
I am an identical twin, and this is our go-to place for a celebratory birthday dinner.
The staff could not have been more professional or courteous, and the manager, Manuel, topped the lot. He could remember us and where we sat the previous year.
Superb food and a great choice of wine or drinks tops it all off for a memorable visit
I've been to Café Andaluz several times but this last one has been the occasion that push me to write this review. Lovely food and drinks as always but what made the difference today was the quality of the service provided. The manager Miguel and the lovely waitress Pearl really went above and beyond to accomodate my severe intolerance to black pepper and chilly pepper, both of them provided information and truthful information about the dishes and suggested reasonable changes to the dishes. Thanks to this, I have been able to fully enjoy the dinner and both of them really deserve a round of applause and a big thank you, so, thank you both!
Dropped in for an early evening bit of food and left stuffed full. Great prices for a heck of a big portion/s. Tasty too and all delivered swiftly and efficiently. Staff, a couple of newbies I think, were polite and efficient. Wine not badly priced either. Go to either of the Cafes in an irregular basis. Why, I ask myself when the food is this good and at these prices.
Meal bought for us as a 25th wedding anniversary gift. We were both very impressed with the choice of dishes and the quality of the food once it turned up. The creme brulé was especially nice, both in its taste and the generosity of the serving. Will be back.
Back on holiday after 12 years away and just consistently as good on both the Service as well as food side of the business.
Chorizo and Black Pudding is a winner all the way!
Chicken in batter with Honey, croquettes with ham and mozzarella, and chorizo/black pudding dishes were so tasty. All the food was good and staff friendly and helpful. Slow service but a lovely atmosphere to be in while you wait.
Booked an ItIsOn Deal for here, sometimes when you get a deal you don't get much choice or the portions are small, not here! Loads of fresh bread and olives, 5 delicious tapas between us and a dessert plus a chilled glass of sangria to wash it all down. Great food and service at a really good price, highly recommended.
Lovely interior, great staff and the food was delicious we will definitely be back
Great tapas restaurant. We went for a snack so had 4 dishes between two and that was ample. Have been before for a meal and had 3 or 4 dishes each and that was plenty for a meal. Ordered a bottle of wine with the meal which was excellent. Staff were very friendly, attentative and provided excellent service. Restaurant is located underground in a small side street.... Hidden away but creates a great atmosphere inside. Recommend for sure.
Food and service were exceptional! After traveling all day, we were trying to find a late night place for dinner, we ran into the owners as we were wandering around. They could see that we couldn’t find a place and they pointed us towards their restaurant. They were so kind and friendly. Thanks Lindsay!
