Have been to spuntini twice now. The food is excellent! The fries pizza is my favourite! Lovely staff, great atmosphere, although one thing that let me down was the menu said fresh pineapple juice but I saw the waitress pouring pineapple juice from juice carton.
Visited on a busy Saturday afternoon with a group of 6 for lunch.
Had reserved a table earlier in the week and were shown to the mezzanine floor which overlooked the ground floor with a view of a beautiful blossom tree - very pretty.
We had the Day Time Tasting menu - 3 small dishes for £9.99 - would recommend the Lasagne, Pizzette Pepperoni and Insalata Miste.
Couple of bottles of wine & coffees later - final bill £124 - very good !
Final touch was being serenaded by the staff singing Happy Birthday with an ice cream with sparklers !
This is one of my favourite restaurant and this restaurant also serves the best pasta in glasgow. Ambience was very soothing and beautiful. I would recommend others to visit this place.
Fabulous!!. I have visited several times and have never been disappointed! I actually cannot believe some of the reviews on here, I honestly wondered if I was reading about the correct restaurant! Admittedly I have never eaten off the a la carte menu but have eaten from their daytime taster menu many times which is tapas style. The food is consistently excellent and fantastic value for money. And the waiting staff are friendly and attentive. If I had to fault anything it would be that several times through the meal each different staff member asks if everything is ok which after maybe 4 times becomes tiresome. A little more communication between staff would resolve this. I have visited with friends and on other occasions taken my children. Always welcomed regardless of the type of party you are with. Great service, knowledgable staff and really gorgeous dishes. I'm going back next week and literally can't wait!!

This place is fantastic a really good varied menu and the daytime special of £6.99 for three tapas is great value. Being a veggie I often struggle but had loads to choose from. Was recommended to us and we've passed it on.
Give it a go.... I was a bit apprehensive about going to La Vita Spuntini having read some very mixed reviews however I really liked it. It's a place to go for your 'tea' as opposed to dinner (if you know what I mean) but the food was good and service quick - it reminded me of La Tasca. I wouldn't say it's particularly cheap although we ordered more food than we needed. They recommend 3 or 4 dishes each but 5 between the two of us would have been enough, though that might depend on what you actually order. The place itself was very busy, there was a queue right out the door of people waiting to get a table. Given that our visit was outside Uni term time, that must say something. All in all, I'd say give it a go.
Luverly!!!. Visited here with my partner on Saturday night. Ok, it was busy and we felt cramped but all you need to do is ask to be seated upstairs - when there is a table they whisk you off and before you know it your feeling more chilled.
Food was great - Ideal for us as we're not huge eaters and so you can pick at 3 small dishes instead of tackling huge portions of pasts. Having said that the pasta is on the menu for our next vist! We had the sardines, meatballs, mini pizzas, courgette flowers and risotto balls - all excellent. House wine was great and the staff are amazing - so firendly and honestly go out of their way to be very helpful but in no way intrusive.

Amazing restaurant and a must visit for anyone who is a fan of Italian food. The mini portions work really well, the decor is wow and price is very reasonable(3 dishes for £6.99 till 6pm). Without a doubt I will visit again.
This is the perfect place to come to with friends, and ideally situated in the heart of Glasgow's West End - especially where there are lots of Students. The prices are very fair and the menu had lots of options. The food was good but not outstanding, but having a spot of lunch here certainly didn't break the bank. I would recommend this to others who are looking for a friendly place for lunch, with good Italian food, great service and a nice atmosphere.
A beautiful restaurant with a cherry blossom tree in the middle of it. Went for a business dinner and enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant and of course the food. Having just returned from two weeks in Sicily it felt like I was still on holiday with the huge selection the menu had to offer. I'm not a local but would definitely visit again when I'm next in Glasgow.
Brilliant place! Really busy and you can see why. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable and the service was quick but didn't feel rushed. Food was so tasty and hot and fresh and special shout out to the Italian host, nothing was too much trouble for him and he clearly runs a great restaurant. Can't wait to go back
We opted for pizza, pasta, and ravioli. Unfortunately, the chicken in the pizza and pasta dishes had a noticeable odor, indicating subpar quality. Despite multiple attempts to capture the staff's attention, it took them 20 minutes to finally take our orders. On the positive side, the staff displayed friendliness throughout our interaction.
Some of the best pizza and pasta we have ever eaten, and we have eaten lots! The service was amazing as well.
The only issue we had was that the air upstairs was pretty dense and warm, but the waiters tried their best to improve things by turning on the fans.

The food and service was very,very good but having a table upstairs,with my family,I felt the space was somewhat compromised with customers and the very good table staff doing their job. Also,we all felt it was very warm,with the heat rising from the downstairs kitchen. Hence my 3 stars for Atmosphere.
Popped in on a bank holiday Monday lunchtime. No reservation. Was seated within minutes, the restaurant was bustling.
Had the tapas. I plummeted for minestrone soup, mussels and lasagne. It was fantastic. Portion just right. Did have a Terry's chocolate orange cake. Not so impressed. Perhaps I was full. Great big slice of cake.
Service was great and I will definitely be back
