Love coias cafe! We always tend to come from breakfast/ brunch and never had a bad meal! Love the breakfast your own way!! Picked up things from the deli too!!
Ordered the mixed seafood pasta. Delicious! Perfectly seasoned with just a hint of chilli. The garlic pizza with mozzarella for starter was perfectly cooked. Service was super efficient. Definitely recommend. Book in advance as it's always busy especially during the weekends.
This place is located in a great area. Their chip shop options are fresh and very tasty. Very popular spot so reservations are probably required.
I visited here with a group of five with no reservation during the week, the place wasn't very busy and they had a table ready for us.
I had a bottle of their Pinot Grigio, it was very dry but tasted great and went nicely with the food.
For starters we shared the pate and the stuffed mushrooms in breadcrumbs, these were very nice especially the mushrooms, I highly recommend these.
My main meal was 'Tagliatelle con Salsiccia e Funghi', tagliatelle with Italian sausage and mushrooms in a creamy sauce, it was really delicious and a big portion, they were happy to box up what I couldn't finish for me to take home and I'm looking forward to hearing it up! At £10.45 it was one of the most expensive pasta dishes on the menu but I would pay it again as it tasted fantastic!
We were too full up to try a desert this time but I'm sure their deserts would live up to the high quality of the mains.
Waiting staff weren't very talkative but service was fast and professional.
Looking forward to returning here!
I Concur!. It is always busy for a reason - that being the food is great. From breakfast (the French toast and bacon is magnificent) to lunch and evening meals. Service is a wee bit slow but why rush a good thing. Just what the east end needs. Will return again and again. Keep up the great work.
It's always busy for a reason!. Coia's is my favorite restaurant in Glasgow. I don't know where to start to explain how great it is. The food is always incredible. It's always fresh, and the portions are big (you'll want to eat every bite!). Everyone I know who has been there has a favourite dish. Mine is the lasagna, my little sister loves the chicken burgers, and my boyfriend is a huge fan of the tageltaelli with sausage and mushroom. There is something for everyone on the menu.
Every time I've gone to Coia's (even on weeknights) it's been busy, so that says a lot. The prices are comparable to city centre restaurant prices, but I think you get more for your money. The atmosphere is great, the restaurant is very clean, and the staff are very attentive. I highly, highly recommend it!
Very nice homely atmosphere with great service. Booking the table in advance os highly recomended. They offer take away service as well. Special bell rings and presentation for birthday celebrations .
It is italian menue but it offeres range from a chippy shops to pasta pizza meet , fisha and Antipasti. Prices are in the mod range. Portions are generous and pasta is home made .i jad a taggilati with scalops and king prowns in a white wine and garlic sauce. The sauce and pasta lacked seasoning but once added it was delicious . The other pasta with tomato based cauces is delicious . Toilets are clean and seats are available outsode too. Kids friendly
Booked for 18th Birthday party. Food was amazing. Staff could not have done anymore for our table. Brought cake out and whole restaurant sang happy birthday. Service is impeccable. Have booked for Christmas Eve.
Amazing food, great friendly service. Mozzarella sticks and pasta Alfredo are to die for. Definitely a place to check out if you love an authentic Italian restaurant in the city. Best place by a country mile. 5*
We dropped in for our annual anniversary vist. Fantastic service and delicious food as always. Our favourite east end treat.
Fantastic friendly welcoming staff terrific food and superb service couldn’t recommend any higher even the husband was won over last visit and he’s not usually an Italian lover so this is second time and it was equally amazing
Never disappointed when we eat at Coias. Food and service exceptional as ever.

Their fish is always fresh, the batter is perfectly crispy, and the chips are incredibly flavorful. A must-visit spot for a satisfying and delicious fish and chips experience.
Breakfast of the Champions only at Coia's Cafe in Duke Street. Amazing food, atmosphere, service. Will definitely recommend anyone who is craving good quality food, either that is Breakfast, Lunch or at any time. Thank you for the amazing experience!
Great food, great service and a brilliant atmosphere! Even popped in to the shop next door to take some snacks home. Will be back!
Had to wait to get in maybe 15 mins but was well worth the wait, as always food on time, delicious and well portioned, plenty of staff on hand and absolutely immaculate
