There are just not enough places that you can feel comfortable to have a coffee with a laptop or a book, have a bite, meet a friend for a drink without having to leave your table or having to compromise the quality of what you get. ..
The breakfast was great. Was visiting from South Africa and was initially told no tables available. However a plan was made and we enjoyed a vegetarian breakfast. If you in Glasgow give it a try.
Very pleasant brunch with nice and typical british breakfast dishes. The waiters are very nice and the room is spacious and has a good calm vibe. Strongly recommend to try it!
Bustling bar and kitchen in Southside Glasgow. Deliciously creamy penne with smoked salmon and peas. Huge chunky chicken breast for the chicken burger and a top notch Aperol Spritz
Brilliant find in the Southside! Was a busy Sat night and wasn't expecting to be sat down at the bar. We ended up sharing a table initially and then were informed by staff when tables were becoming free. Haven't tried the food. But can't fault the drinks and cocktails. Service was second to none. Definitely return!
I really enjoyed my meal at the Bungo. Food and atmosphere were both great.
Cool place. I have been in here a few times and i do like it and i thought the food has been pretty good. I like what they have done to it and the staff are really friendly and the service is excellent. Great to have another place apart from Mulberry St as a pub/restaraunt, which is very tiered in comaparison to here.

Feels like home.. So finally, a decent bar around here! And finally, a good restaurant that doesn't try to be an espresso bar or design shop or cookery school. Aaahh, the simple pleasures in life!
It was a struggle to book a table on the phone, not even the manager managed to do it, so we rocked up early on a Thursday night and got the last lucky table.
Beef daube was very good. What is better value than ordering a dish that would take you an afternoon to cook yourself and have it appear in front of you in a matter of minutes? Yummy indeed, the meat fell apart and had a welcome fruityness from orange zest. The only let down was the poor quality of the olives but hey ho. Next, crab linguini had umami goodness and was nicely presented. All except one main was below £15 and the portions were generous. The cheese board to share for a tenner was a tad disappointing in its selection. I missed a goat or sheep and quince jelly felt slightly predictable. Good selection of wine by the glass though! Service was efficient and nice, no "sirs" or "madames" this time, thankfully. A very nice place for a meal and a very nice bar to hang out in before or after. This is a grown up place, with music pleasantly low and dark shades on the walls, just perfect for the 30+ clientele. After all you've moved to the south side!
Always a great place to go for a few drinks or a bite to eat. Friendly place with good service. Decent wines and nit too expensive. Would definitely recommend meeting your friends here for a few drinks or a nice meal.
There were seven of us on Saturday and everybody had a great meal. A little difficult to get a hold of the waiters sometimes, but it was very busy great atmosphere and great setting. Would definitely keep going back
The food is always excellent. It's not often that I go somewhere and want to try every thing on the menu! Nice, welcoming atmosphere, good service, great food and dog friendly in the bar area. We always try to make it down for the Tuesday pub quiz or just as a wee treat to have dinner out the house. I'm here all the time and am glad to be so local, always a good time out :)

Great that it is dog friendly, my big lump of a bulldog is allowed on seat with her blanket, gets her water and staff and customers pamper her

A great find (chosen because allows dogs in the bar area, but looked like an interesting menu). We loved it. The service was efficient and very friendly. The menu had lots of really interesting choices. We were all happy with our choices. The chicken waffles were amazing. Great choice of cocktails. Would happily return!
Awesome food. Best chicken satay I’ve ever tasted but the rest of the small plates were really really tasty and a lovely Pinot to wash it all down. Great friendly staff too. Highly recommend.

South Indian fish thali, and blackened monkfish, both delicious, fresh, hot and served quickly. They offer gluten-free and vegan menus and the food is interesting and varied. I would definitely return. Staff were lovely.
Dog-friendly cafe that have great food selection. We got 3 dishes and all of them were delicious. Service was great and food came out fast.

Very good arrangements for social distancing. Excellent starters and mains only spoilt by dried up mushy peas which were taken off the bill. Really nice pinot grigio and excellent friendly service. Espressotini was awesome.
Everything was good, nice atmosphere etc - but the food was excellent. I had a nasi goreng dish which was maybe the tastiest thing I have ever tasted, apart from my mum's mince.
Great food, fantastic bloody Mary and the staff are incredible!
