Warmly welcomed by the staff and given a choice of tables.
Our waitress explained how the restaurant works and then took our drinks order.
We first tried the Salad and Sides bar which was extensive and had some very tasty dishes.
Then the meat stared coming and kept coming. The servers were happy to bring the various cuts of meat cooked to our preferences. Once we had sampled everything the servers we happy to bring our preferred selections again and again.
The salad and sides bar was regularly checked band refurbished with fresh item which added to the excellent food experience.
We were there on a Sunday lunchtime visit and although it was not overly busy there was a nice friendly feeling to the place.
Not the cheapest lunch in town but definitely a must if you love your meat.
Will visit again.
We came here for a friend's stag night since it was his favourite restaurant and I can see why! The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, and the meats they brought out were incredible. No matter how you like your meat cooked, there is something for everyone here with every type of meat. I personally prefer my meat blue/rare/medium-rare and I enjoyed my meal thoroughly, though one of the people I was with liked their meat medium/medium-well/well-done and they also enjoyed cuts from different places on the same piece of meat.
For the price, you actually get your money's worth considering the (also decent) sides are unlimited in a self-serve buffet and you can also have as much meat as you want when they bring it to your table, and you can ask them to bring around stuff you've already had if you liked it at no extra cost. Be prepared to eat a LOT if you come here!
Great service with very friendly and helpful staff. Ordered the old fashioned and the wait is worth it, gorgeous smoky flavour. The sides are a nice addition but you go here for the meat. All is cooked well but the flank steak and gammon really stood out for flavour. Chicken hearts available for the adventurous but the texture is just too much. At the end leave dessert and have more meat.
Very happy with service.Staff very friendly .Went without booking on a Saturday night and after short wait got a table.Food amazing. Great place to eat .will definitely be back .
Book if you want a space on a Sunday. Free dessert and free food for under tens make this a family friendly experience. The salad bar was underwhelming however the pork bean stew was tasty. Friendly staff and lots of meat. Some a bit fatty but mostly a fun a novel experience.
If you have ever read any other SFR review you will be aware that we are big fans of Steak, well most meats really, well actually all food I guess. So to me the idea of a place that gives you unlimited meat is like the idea of National Treasure Susan Boyle singing Mull of Kintyre at the opening of the Commonwealth Games, great in theory but it's all about the execution. If the meat is off and runs out half way through the first verse, sorry I mean course, then obviously that's going to be an issue. Viva Brazil, however, had no such problems.
Went to Viva Brazil on a Saturday afternoon. Table was booked and it is definitely recommended to do this as it was busy. As soon as you walk in to the restaurant you are welcomed by the smell of the food on offer and is fantastic. The service was good start to finish with the right level of attentiveness not to be intrusive. After getting salad and other sides from the buffet you are served various meats (up to 15 types) including steak, chicken, pork, etc with different flavourings until you are full, indicated by using a red and green card on the table. I personally loved the food; who would have thought Parmesan and pork go so when together?? I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves meet and variety. The experience overall was brilliant and can't wait to go back.
Good food. The place is fair, I liked the salad bar, the meat itself is not to my style but was to my dining partners. He likes grills and barbecued food where I prefere curries and stews. The staff were very friendly and the place was immaculate.
I had an amazing night at Viva Brazil – the food is delicious, particularly the meat and the service was fantastic. The staff are always nearby and they’re so attentive. I’m really excited to go back and do it all again. Next time I will only change one thing: I will pace myself.
Amazing dishes, great staff and lovely atmosphere. What more could you ask for? I recently took my father for his birthday and it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone willing to try something new
Went here not long ago and didnt know what to expect from the restaurant. I was in a group of 8 people and were seated in table without any delay which was good as some restaurants make a small fuss when it comes to bigger tables.
If you havent eaten in a restaurant which has a similar system of how they serve food then l would recommend bringing someone who does. The food was great and there was plenty to go around, the staff were not pushy in any way which is good as we ate at a comfortable pace.
One thing l would say that would make the restaurant a better experience is having someone come to the table at the start and explain how the food is served even if someone at the table has been before.
Bring on the meat train!
Was not sure what to expect here but definitely a great experience.
There is a salad buffet style self service . But i would highly recommend to avoid this if you want to experience the palet of meats they will bombard you with in the coming half hour.
A waiter comes round and offers his varied meats on a stick for you. This is off the skewer grilled meats.
At first the cuts were abit small i thought but there is so much meat to come you could eventually rebuild the entire animal you are eating.
Good service over all as well.
Staff dont push here which is a biggy for me when eating out. You're left to your own devices and when you want more meat you have a disc which has a red side and a green side which you turn when your ready to start again. All meats we tried were great. Some like the chicken heart are a aquired taste though. We also got the seafood platter.....this was a mistake. Pretty tastless and Talapia....well its crap. If they stick to land based foods they'd have it cracked
If you're looking for copious amounts of meat, you need look no further than Viva Brazil!
Though the central buffet and salad bar is adequate, it is the 15 different meats that really make this place stand out.
Once you are seated, servers will come round and offer you different cuts of meat from a skewer. From chicken hearts to rump steak, there really is a fantastic selection of food available. Every diner has a card with a green side and a red side, keep the card green and the meat keeps coming!
The only complaint I have is that the table we were seated at was positioned so awkwardly that when some people wanted to get up, everyone in the same row had to get up as well, this made getting to the central salad bar and buffet a bit of a chore.
It's impossible to leave here hungry!
Great service and atmosphere, and most of the cuts of meat I tried were really nice. I will no doubt be back here again and would recommend trying Viva Brazil for a unique dining experience in Glasgow.

Saw the afternoon promotion £10 steak and decided to give it a try. I’m happy to say that the food is well cooked and of good quality. Service was attentive and helpful. We did pay for the peppercorn sauce which was divine!
Definitely will be back to try their Brazilian free flow meats and salad bar.
Visited Viva Brazil in June 2023. Actually pleasant experience. I had never been to a Viva Brazil restaurant before so was all new. Staff were every kind and friendly. Basically you can get the Vegetables, salad etc from the buffet area. Once seated if you leave the card they give you green facing up the staff will continually come round with different Meat for you to try including Chicken Hearts, gammon, steak, lamb and the roasted pinapple was also really nice. I wish I took more photos but too busy filling my face. The different meats were excellent and very much enjoyed trying all the different ones on offer. The restaurant was smart and nicely decorated. Would definately return again
An oldie but a goodie! Visited on a Sunday afternoon, it was fairly quiet. The buffet was filled with really tasty side dishes from risotto to mashed potatoes to cured meats. It's easy to fill up on that and end up missing out on all the meats! You have a red and green card on your table to show when you want more meat or when you want to stop. They bring round different meats on large skewers. Plenty of it. This time we had a lot of the same meat, rump steak. Would have been nice to try more variety. However, they brought round garlic bread and cinnamon pineapple! Delicious. The servers were all friendly and polite. Special mention to Thomaz, he was really knowledgeable about the food and how they cook it etc. He was also training another member of staff at the time. Couldn't have been more helpful!
They offer vegetarian and vegan options. If you want to ask for your meats well-done they will happily oblige! Absolutely loved it. Will definitely be back!
Went to Viva for a birthday dinner and was blown away by the stunning, clean restaurant, the incredible wide array of Brazilian dishes in the buffet and of course the meats. Outstanding friendly service from Patricia, Katy and the rest of the crew. Viva¡
Starting from walking through the door you are greeted with the smell of bbq and the warm host from the staff, we opted for the full Rodizio which is eat till you drop.
If you have never been here and want to try a concept of dining that is truly unique then look no further....
10/10 every time
Absolutely stunning service and food. I ordered the halloumi steak and it was mouthwatering, perfectly crispy on the outside, and juicy and soft on the inside. When it came to the table it smelled absolutely wonderful, served on a bed of thinly sliced baby potatoes which were godly! My family thought all of the meat was very flavourful and perfectly cooked. They absolutely loved the lamb (which they don't usually anywhere else) and said they hadn't had anything that tasted as good in a while and they go out for food quite often.
The servers also came round with grilled cinnamon pineapple, and garlic bread. Which was suitable for me as I'm vegetarian and can I stress how good it was!! absolutely delicious. Left everyone at the table asking for some pineapple again.
The service was so lovely, they were extremely patient with us as we weren't sure how everything worked at first and explained everything until we were confident. It was also very fast and we were not left waiting at all.
Special thanks to Vini, who was soo sweet and helpful.
This is the most delicious and well cooked food we have had in a while. Unique service and money well spent. Despite being pricey it was definitely worth it for a treat.
Thank you so much :) will definitely return.
Great customer service from the moment you walk through the door.
The whole staff are there to make sure you enjoy yourselves to the full.
And then there's the food.
Just stunning.
One mouthful of flavour followed by another.
It just keeps coming.
Looking forward to going back.
Thanks
Was in Viva Brazil Glasgow tonight for me and my partners anniversary. We were greeted by the lovely Patricia (im sure her name was) she was so helpful and lovely from start to finish, she made our experience so lovely by giving us free Prosecco as it was our anniversary.
Great experience, plenty off meats delivered to table on skewers and sliced by staff ,there is also a salad bar which is self service plenty too pick from.drinks reasonably priced. We were a party off 6 adults and 1 kid 9.(under 10s eat free ).it was a wonderful experience, will do it again next time I get down to glasgow.
A lot of choices for less price.. I also had option of meat cooked according to my choice. Service was wonderful
Meal was lovely, food was very tasty, and service was decent but it almost felt a little rushed at times as the passador looked like he was running around like a headless chicken, ensuring his tables were serviced with the meat, drinks and the bill.
The salad bar had limited choices compared to Fazenda, who is a similar restaurant, and I’ve eaten at before.
Staff were friendly though, the manager (I think) spent a little time talking to us when seating us at our seats which was nice considering how busy it was.
All in all we’ll return again when back in Cardiff.
The food was beautiful, the salad bar was lovely and the service was great The staff were very friendly would recommend
If you’re visiting Glasgow for the first time and love food, this is the place for you. Wonderful concept, food and staff. Would 100% come again and would recommend to anyone. Get the cheese Doug balls! 11/10
Great food and atmosphere. There was a magic performer before our dishes came and he never bothered us during our meal which was lovely. Food was fenominal and love the concept of bringing the meat out to you. They had a great selection of meat and there was cinnamon pineapple which everyone loved. Over all great place to go with two people and you're family love it and hope to come again
Ftom the moment we arrived to the time we left, the staff we warm, welcoming, friendly and attentive.
Neil and the team made sure we had all we needed and added to our celebrations for my hubbys birthday.
There was a wide range of lovely food that just kept coming and Taylor was so bubbly when she approached our table to offer the next meat she was carving.
Definitely a place to visit to eat and relax with friends and family.
Very child friendly too.
Well done team and thank you x
Loved this place! Food was gorgeous. Staff quick with the food and so friendly. On a team outing and it really helped in making a good night!
