The restaurant was full on a Tuesday afternoon. We waited for a table for a few minutes which was fine. Food was authentic and served as it was cooked. The lunchtime menu was great value plus we added in extra dishes. Highly recommend, we saw one bad Google review (which was rubbish) - go and see fo

I've had recommendations to visit Mother India and finally did it last night. There was an approx 30 minute wait for a table which was absolutely fine given the first come, first serve basis.
Given the dishes are stylistically Indian Tapas a couple of dishes was a perfect amount of food. The Butter
Consistently good food with smaller portions at the main Mother India allowing a mixture of dishes. The daily specials are amazing, and the fresh spices come through to deliver an amazing taste and gentle heat that builds slowly, allowing flavours to develop. Highly recommended and worth every penny
Great menu serving wonderful Indian dishes. Couldn't fault the food.
Fantastic waitstaff and dishes at this cozy restaurant. The sweet nan was fantastic! The butter chicken was fresh and creamy. I liked the monkfish dish and tikka chicken dish. We will return here the next time we are in Glasgow.
Here’s a fact for you all- Mother India cafe does the best curry in Glasgow, no questions asked. Don’t waste your time anywhere else and head straight here. Great veggie ( and meat) curries, amazing bread and sides and incredible service!
The food was really tasty and there were a good range of options. We liked the fact that there were different styles of Indian cooking on one menu, and a good variety of vegetarian options.
The best dinning experience in Glasgow so far. I’m a big fan of Indian food, so I was in heaven with the diversity and quality of the food. The place is lovely and staff super gentle. Quite affordable too!
I had paneer saag with naan and masala tea, and it was a warm balanced lunch of good price. Feta cheese in saag was lovely. I'd try dosa or tapas and enjoy the calm mood sometime again. Several vegan options. Decent place to recommend :)
Lovely place.
Good service, tasty food.
Lucky enough to walk in and get a table, not long before the queue started outside. And it is now obvious why the queue formed.
Why have I not been here before??
Amazing food and quick service, will definitely be back soon.
