We were staying just around the corner and having read the great reviews decided to give it a try. Good decision - everything we had was delicious, a big cut above the standard UK curry house. Fresh and flavourful breads veg dishes lamb and for starters haddock and green herb pakoras. Delicious!

Chicken Saag. Spicier than some, but complimented magnificently by the rice and Peshwari Paratha. Just the right portion size too, not ambitiously big but not leaving you in anyway hungry. 9/10

Don't miss this. Tight for space inside but you're here for the food and not the elegant surroundings or elbow room. The menu is on the small side with an eat-what-you're-given feel to it but who cares? The food here is perhaps of the best I've tasted and put together with skill. I'd eat there any day of the week.

Brilliant. I'd eat in here every night if I could!
The specials board is one to watch, especially if 'deli lamb' is on it. It's small but cosy, the staff are professional but friendly, the decor is atmospheric and the food is delicious.

As the name suggests the wee shop is situated in a nook when you walk out of Cowcaddens subway station, so a 5 min walk from sauchiehall street. Run by the same people who own Mother India Cafe this restaurant by some lucky twist of fate remains pretty hidden and serves a small but dedicated clientele.

The food is freshly made in front of you and the homely nature of the place allows patrons to ask the chef to modify the dishes a bit to suit the palette. I personally prefer my meat dishes a little on the spicy side and the chef always comes through !!

Do try the lunch meal deal - a starter, followed by a curry and nan bread for a fiver !! Great value for money.
Also worth trying are the pakoras and the palak dal. I've never bothered to drink here so I cannot say much, but there is a small selection of beers, wine and hard liquor.

I find the place a little tight so mainly opt for take away, which is good as the quantity served is more than when you eat in the place. The Garnethill park is a 2 min walk from there - so grab your meal and head to the park for a nice picnic !!

I only wish the place was a little less of a squeeze and they offered home delivery, but all in all, it's nice to have a wee curry shop in the neighbourhood !!

Went for the lunch deal - two generous courses for a tenner. The vegetable pakora was superb - my partner who won’t normally touch vegetables ate it all. The garlic chili chicken and chicken tikka were really tasty too. Personally I thought the larger bits of chicken were slightly too dry - but my partner doesn’t share this opinion so definitely a question of taste. We will be back!

I visited this restaurant for the first time with my Husband. They had a lunch menu, but we decided to order from the main menu. I ordered Chicken Korma and Nan bread. It was amazing, best korma I have ever eaten! The flavours were fantastic! My Husband had a Lamb dish with fried rice. He said the flavours in the sauce and the Lamb was the best he had tasted. We ordered some Prosecco which was reasonably priced and tasted superb! We can't wait to return and try some more dishes from the menu.

I've been here only a few times but treated to delicious delicious food every time. Their lamb biryani is really a must try. Worth every penny. We also loved the chicken pakoras - freshly made and crunchy. I'm going to visit again to try some more of their curries. Also do try Kingfisher beer it's an Indian brand and you hardly find it in Glasgow. Thank you to the chef - really a polite and warm person. Cannot recommend it enough. 5 stars ⭐⭐ Unfortunately I didn't click any food pictures but surely next time.

This was one of the best Indian food that I have eaten! I took the Lamb Curry which was just the right amount of spicy with lots of flavour. The service was great as well and the decor of the restaurant was well thought through. Just a great experience :)

The food is so tasty, full of flavour and freshly cooked. 2 of us had a mild curry because we don't like hot food. This still had a bit of spice to it. The other person had monkfish which was again slightly spicy but absolutely delicious. I think there should be slightly more choice.
