Visited on a quiet weekday for lunch. It was a bit tricky to find the entrance as Google Maps pinned the restaurant on another side of Glasgow Central Station.
The staff were very friendly, and the food was amazing!
I loved my medium well D-rump, and the herby sauce recommended by the host was SUB
Recommended by my taxi driver and I must say he was spot on! Everything was amazing! The food, the service, the atmosphere. It was my first meal in Glasgow this trip, and I’m planning on making it my last one, too.
Went here as a random choice for a friend catchup lunch today, and loved it - Sunday roast was delicious, and great service and tasty cocktails too :) Sadly didn't have room for dessert in the end, hopefully next time :)
Great little place that I walk by every day! Enter through central station and go down the steps. Underneath the arches - cozy but not cramped. Fab bar which I want to try next time. Don't miss the cocktails or the D-rump (Alston) special which was great value.
You really have to look for the door of this place on the station concourse left side which leads to a descending staircase into a subterranean arched bar.
We did not partake of any food but had drinks and coffees after being on our feet for a long time on the wonderful historic underneath central
Well the roast beef Sunday lunch was fine.
£25 for 2 courses I felt was a bit steep .
The dessert was completely disappointing.
Carnachan...tiny bit of oatmeal/ granola and swamped in cream. Not nice. We left them
Was a great setting inside, staff were friendly and very helpful. Steak was cooked just as i had asked, the scallops were cooked well but the smallest one's I have seen for the price.
Just discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant. Best steak in Glasgow! Side dishes were amazing too. Dessert was divine. Lovely, cosy, relaxed atmosphere. Superb service.
The food was amazing, the sunday roast was exactly what I had hoped for, super soft roast beef and a tasty starter of spiced calamari.
The decor was unexpected and very chic, felt like a bootlegger den or prohibition bar. Good selection of whisky and decent service... but, they added a 10% service
Wasn't very busy when we arrived which we enjoyed. Food was outstanding. Top quality meat
A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
From being sat to our table to paying the bill everything about our night was perfect.
We had the château Thursday deal and you got way more than your moneys worth. Excellent food and equally as good drinks! I will be returning soon 100%
Flawless except one fact that it is SO hard to find the location. Fxxx the google map and just go straight to the Central station. There is a way to go downstairs.
The ambiance is superb, and so is the food. I had a beef sunday roast with ox tail mac and cheese on the side, and oh, every bite was a
On point. Amazing service, great drinks. Lovely Sunday roast.
Ordered a set of Sunday roast, two courses for £20 and £24 for three course. Not bad actually tasty than expected. They were based inside of the central station, a convenient spot and easy to find. The vibe was chill, and staffs were professional and friendly. Recommended for a visit if you’re beef
Good service. Sirloin was alright. Not medium rare (imo). Peppercorn sauce was a winner and good chips and salad. Came to £55 for med. rare sirloin, chips, peppercorn sauce, salad, and two vodka soda. Servers added 10% service charge. Overall not bad by any means but not a wow. Nice servers and conv
Well decorated underground restaurant. One of the best desserts I have ever had in Glasgow. It was made by real fruit drizzled with crunchy nuts cereal, strange mix but tasted amazing!
Little hidden gem...that I can guarantee you will miss. It's entrance is well hidden within Glasgow Central Station....it's on the Gordon Street exit just to the right. You'll have walked past it 1000 times if you're a regular central station traveller & never even noticed it. Great steaks and great
This delightful restaurant set just inside of Glasgow Central station. Step down for steps into a simple but elegant decor.
Beautifully cooked steaks and tastiest vanilla sauce and poached pear.
Pricey but worth it.
Excellent Service.
This place is absolutely fantastic. They have amazing food and the ambience is next level! I highly recommend this place for the steaks, but don't discount the sides. The mushrooms were divine.
