A high-end curry house. The menu has a lot of choices. Portions were more in keeping with a curry house than a fine dining restaurant, but this didn't hurt the quality. Staff were helpful. Recommended!
Return visit to this amazing restaurant. I had the same curry as last time (desi). Again, it was incredible. Authentic, with real depth in flavour and spicing. Can’t recommend it enough. The waiter was incredibly warm, patient and insightful as always and allowed my friend to sample some different sauces before deciding on a main, which he loved. Everything from the main to the dips was faultless. Thanks again for another wonderful experience, look forward to our next visit.
Have been here with office colleagues for a team dinner. The place is good and comfortable.
The food was served on buffet and the food was tasty.
It was served hot and quantity was refilled continuously.
Don't remember what all food items were on the buffet but majorly it was salad, pakora, curries and indian bread and rice with lentils.
Not sure if I will visit again but definitely worth a try.
Good authentic Indian food,
Very friendly staff
Will definitely recommend if you love Indian test.
I tried non veg platter, rogan ghosh and garlic Nans.
Desi Salad was not up to the mark.
BEST INDIAN FOOD IN TOWN. Love this gem nestling on the Clyde. Food is first class and the service super smooth.
Great Indian. I have eaten here well over 5 times on my trips to Glasgow, and it never fails to satisfy.
Two thumbs up!
Mr Dunbar. I booked a table for 5 family members today (Sunday 14/08/11 at 5.30pm) as it was my birthday.
I certainly was not dissapointed with any aspect of this brilliant modern restaurant...The staff, service, and quality of the food were superb.
I am certain we will return to India Quay again.
Eaten here on 4 occasions. Enjoy the classy decor and friendly staff. The view is excellent over the squinty bridge when it's lit up. Handy for SECC and other nearby attractions. Food isn't the best Indian food in the city. But unless you are hyper critical it is not the worst either. Tasty curries and excellent nans. Would go back and have no problem recommending it.
Good food, service a bit on the intermitant side, but food great if a bit on the pricy side ! However will go back ....
Stunning setting on the North side of the Clyde at the Squinty Bridge. Modern and trendy decor. Staff curteous and friendly. Menu is focused and food is consistently great! Buffet is a bit restricted in terms of choice of food but would recommend the Chicken Tikka Sizzler for a great meal between two , add in a nan and 2 pints of Kingfisher for less than £25. Try it - you will love it.
Nice setting on the river and trendy interior. The menu was very small but the food was delicious. Service a little cold. 3 courses for 3 people £76 including 2 drinks each. Priced well. I liked it a lot but would not hurry back.
Fresh food, nice environment, great service. Peshwari nan is a must!!
Beautiful restaurant, gorgeous food and friendly staff
Nice Indian place in Glasgow close to the waterfront and many hotels there 🏨
The reservation works well through the website and also the “check in”, was flawless 👍
Also the service while ordering was excellent - we got useful tips what to order in combination with our main dishes. The place can become a bit noisy when many people are there.
Thanks for the good time 🙌
Nice people, good food and drink. Close to hotels and Quayside. Flavours were good. Not bad at all.
Absolutely banging curry.... Loved it and the tikka sizzler is a must try 💯 really nice restaurant with lovely views. Definitely enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back 👍🏻
Great location if you’re going for a pre-show dinner ahead of an SEC visit.
Our paneer sizzlers were super tasty. A choice of marinated and accompanying sauce, both very tasty. The naan bread was a bit flat and lifeless - far prefer them to be light and fluffy.
Service was good but sparse. Tried so many times to get staff attention but they walk around with blinkers on.
All in all, a decent place to visit.
First visit. Food was quick to the table after ordering. Waiter advised on dishes to try based on personal preferences. We weren't disappointed. Would recommend. Very friendly waiter.
Very tasty food, well presented. Raj was an excellent host and recommended a very tasty moonga. The restaurant was clean and well decorated. Will definitely be back again. Back again, Lamb Desi was amazing. Tender lamb. Wicked lady zinfandel washed it down well.
Top class traditional Indian food.
Fast friendly service, food was plenty full and fabulous. We'll be back
An amazing place to sip wine and pl do try their sizzler. Authentic chicken tikka, malai tikka sizzler a little sweet.
Brilliant customer service..
We came for dinner here before going onto a show at the Armidillo. It is five minutes away from the venue. Most importantly, the food and service is superb. Looked after as soon as we arrived. Servers were all very attentive. The food was amazing. So fresh and so tasty. Plenty of choices for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. I have to say, the restaurant is very well priced. A few restaurants around take advantage of the location, but India Quay is very fair. Would definitely recommend and we will go back when we are down again
Omg! Honestly I believe the best Indian meal I have ever had! The naan bread was like air! Yet tasted like heaven! Stupidly poetic I know but cannot describe how good it was. The very fabulous Raj (my attentive, friendly and knowledgeable waiter) advised me on the best choice for me based on what I was looking for. Raj recommended the Moonag which is on the menu with King Prawn, as I don't eat prawns he suggested the chicken tikka ... guy knows his stuff... it was amazing! And I must mention the fabulous spicy onions and raita I had with my delicious poppadoms! Honestly. Fabulous. Hubby and I came a few times when it first opened and since. But not been for 15 years as we moved south. I am travelling alone and don't mind dining alone but Raj made me feel comfortable and did not rush me despite the appearance of lone diners. I know where I will be dining every time I am back in Glasgow. Best ever.. India Quay at Finnieston. Ask for Raj x
