If you want hearty, wholesome and generous portions you've found the right place.
The pasta is aldente, sauces spiced to perfection and the pizzas fresh made, you'd really not taste anything better outside Italy.
I always pop over if I'm on call doing house calls for my lunch/sandwiches there, as they are family run and not some franchise chain with sullen teens behind the counter.
And now I know I can make bookings will defiantly be sorting a few family nights out in the coming months.

Really nice homemade feeling and food.
Big portions and good ingredients.
Nice staff and clean place with a good vibe. Not big but have enough seats for a kid size group like 20 ppl.

The food is first quality. Real Italian. Everything is super tasty in the semplicity.
We've been for dinner (spaghetti quadrati with vongole are actually superb) and take away pizza. To be honest we hoped to have a pizzeria with this quality in the vicinity.

Lovely meal at Bella Fresca, our first under the new management. The food was delicious. We had the bruschetta, which had a lot of lovely marinated cherry tomatoes and the chicken pate for starters. For mains, we had spagetti bolognaise, rigatoni carbonara, and chicken with peppers. Two of our party found their main to be quite large, and we were told we could ask for smaller portions next time. Staff were very friendly and cooperative. For those people who remember it under the old management, there are slightly fewer options on the menu, but that doesn't detract from a great dining experience.

Nice intimate restaurant with friendly staff and tasty food. The cocktails were great but did take a while to arrive due to how busy it was. I would recommend getting the carbonara without cream as it was very rich. Will definitely be back!

Nearneighbour. Just returned from bella fresca. Food great cafe/restaurant about 1/3 of tables taken _ not busy but had to wait 40 minutes between starter and main course<br/> No apology for delay perhaps this is normal. Loved food but don't go there if you are in a hurry

Well worth a visit. I have just had lunch there with my son. We both loved it. He had the calzone which he really enjoyed, small for his appetite (as he could eat a horse) but really good for £5. I had the seafood linguine OMG the size of the portion was hugh. loads of mussells, king prawns, 3 gigantic scallops, to die for!! £9.25?? We jhad two soft drinks and total bill £18.25, amazing!! I couldn't get my meal for £18.25 anywhere else. Will definately be back

My son and daughter were both very sick after eating the bacon at bella fresca a couple of weeks ago. I called and discussed with a member of staff who was supposed to speak to the chef and call me back. I have heard nothing further from them

Overpriced. A bit pricey for two bits of greasy bacon on a roll with luke warm capaccino served with dour faced staff who are just in a rush to serve you feels a bit like a fast food joint now or maybe i caught them having a bad day but didnt enjoy my breakfast at that price

It's great!!. Been to Jamie's in Glasgow, Brighton, Cambridge and restaurants in loads of places(Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Berlin) and the aubergine in cheese sauce starter and papardelle and broccoli was as good as anywhere (no doubt somebody will say that Jamie's is rubbish anyway...). My wife can cook pproperly and she rated it very highly indeed. No idea what the crirics on here are on about.

Decent food, but noisy!. I'm a local, come here now and again for their excellent calzones, and their deli's the best for miles. What lets it down for me is the deafening volume of the place - too many hard surfaces or something, coffee machines grinding and scooshing and everyone shouting to be heard. Not relaxing at all.

TOP ITALIAN CUISINE. I cant believe some of the reviews recently regarding Bella Fresca I have to say I am saddened by this ! I myself visit this establishment on many occasions with my wife who is Italian !! and she knows good food ! and we think the service the atmosphere the general running of the place and of course the food are all second to none I personally would recommend this restaurant to anyone The proprietor Tony and his staff constantly and consistently make sure that you will have a truely memorable time whilst dining at Bella Fresca AAAA+++++

Great place!!. I am a regular customer to Bella Fresca, the food is fanastic and great value!! Would highly recommend this place to everyone, Great choice on the menu and they also have daily specials if your looking for something a bit different!! I had the salmon dish off the specials menu and I can honestly say it was better than some of the over priced restuarants I have eaten in.

Dont order pesto. Use to go to bella every week but on saturday ordered spaghetti pesto there was a pool of oil at the bottom of the plate and pasta was overcooked wont be back standards have dropped big time

Pete19671. Went in for my favourite risotto spicy chicken they use to be amazing but it was starchy and dull no flavours my partner had penne napoli the sauce tasted sour has went a wee bit down hill recently no the first time in recent months i have had a bad meal its a shame
