Often enjoyed TransEurope for lunch and with the introduction of their themed bistro nights decided to enjoy a pre-theatre before attending the Tron.

Theme for April was France and the fixed menu was excellent. Highly recommended from our group was French Onion Soup, Coq Au Vin and Fish Stew accompanied by an delicious Malbec.

Very happy group just sorry didn't get the chance to enjoy the cheese board...next time.

Have always enjoyed the brunch here and the laid back atmosphere. Love the old bus seats! Owner's a great guy and always attentive. Favourite eat of mine is the full English breakfast.

My first trip back to this cafe - it was a favourite when I lived in Glasgow, so I went with high hopes. The cafe is much more minimalist than it used to be, couldn't see the board games that I used to enjoy playing or any of the retro tea and coffee sets.
Service was ok. Seeing as I was the only person in there it was slower than it should have been, probably as the chef was having a very loud, very angry conversation on the phone for pretty much the whole time I was there.
When the omlette did arrive it was exceptional. I had opted for cheese and bacon, it was one of the largest and most perfect omlettes I've seen. The chef may be angry, but he can sure cook an omlette.

I Could Eat Here Every Day. The sandwiches in this place – which I confess is the only thing I've tried – are truly amazing. Superb quality bread and homemade toppings make it a wonderful lunch. The Copenhagen sandwich is probably my favourite. Staff are friendly and service is quicker than average.

Nothing fried. Friendly staff. Everything on the plate tasted great. Highly recommend. We asked the waitress for jam to go with the toast. She told us that she'd brought in a jam once and the owner had told her it wasn't good enough. He must have the same passion for everything that's served. The coffees were great too.I had a really nice chai latte. All 3 of us really enjoyed.

I didn't stop long enough to sample the food, but the coffee was good, and I really loved the way the cafe was done up. It's a real break from the norm, and I made me feel very positive about being a European and a travelling man to boot!

Lovely relaxing cafe with really friendly staff and unusual interior design. The Full English breakfast however could be a bit larger for the price (1 slice of bacon, 1 sausage). Very good coffee though and tasty black pudding. Nice that they still serve breakfast past the usual 10am too.

My favourite bistro/cafe. Food is always well served and excellently prepared, coffee and cakes also top notch. Very relaxing atmosphere with nice staff and a genuinely friendly owner. Breakfasts are excellent as is the classic wide ranging and tasty sandwich menu. I can honestly recommend everything on the menu (think I've tried it all at some point).
